I think Nora Roberts outdid herself. Right from the beginning the book was great. The best she ever wrote
when she gets them in the end and lives happily ever after with the Sherrif
Modern Day Love Story
I loved almost everything about this Audiobook. The story was very well written. And in my opinion the performance was absolutely on point!
Yes, I like the way that Nora writs. I like how she knows her characters. She gives them each characteristics and stays true to them. Yes they evolve but not in a way that is totally unreasonable.
The narrator did a wonderful job!
I love the way this story was developed. Beginning, middle to end, it was wonderful and very interesting.
yes it held my attention and it was funny in parts
yes, I wanted the main character to find happiness
I wish men like Brooks exhisted!
I love audiobooks, ebooks, and physical books. I like a variety of genres, but really got started on Dean Koontz. Since then I'll read (listen) to just about anything except child abuse themes.
Definately, without hesitation. This has to be the best listen ever. Not only because of the story itself but also the narration was by far the best. She truly captured the protaginist like no other could.
I'm not sure about the edge of my seat but definately well immersed into the story. I didn't want to stop listening and when it was done I craved more
No, I don't think so, but it would be interesting to see how well she does. But this story seemed to be made just for her to perform, and perform she did.
It will be the one to listen to over and over again. Thank you Nora Roberts and Julia Whelan. You both are gold stars with this title.
Although I have not read the book, the audio version is very good.
Of course the main character is good, but Sunny is very charming. And Brooke sounds devine.
She is excellent. Very engaging.
The book simply makes you feel in the company of friends who are telling you a personal story.
Hope it is made into a movie!
Say something about yourself!
This is an unusual and interesting storyline, I just had to keep listening, to find out what happened next.
As usual, the ending.
Well, there were many, but the scenes with her mother are very profound.
This audio was a very pleasant surprise. I will listen to it again.
I have listened to and enjoyed the JD Robb "In Death" series for years, but not too many by the Nora Roberts pen name. However, after this book, I find I like this persona as well, and will add Nora Roberts to my list of favorite authors.
The book is well written; has an interesting storyling and characters you can like and empathize with. I recommend this one.
Profesionl, hard working woman who travels weekly, enjoys life. My best Friends are Michael and Scooter. Nonfiction books are the best!
This is a brillant storie, told with passion, made you want more and more. I wish it were longer as I became very close to the charctors!!! Dont miss this book
Great combination of mystery, suspense, romantic love, and today's technology!
I liked that it was set in today's era.
Julia's narration was pleasant, and easy to follow.
Mother of 3, grandmother of 6, retired nurse and substance abuse counselor. Thrilled to have the time to read or listen to books again.
I really enjoyed listening to this book. I'm not big Nora Robert's fan so I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I enjoyed the chacaters and i feel she captured the everyday workings of a brilliant mind in a logical and at times humorous way. The story line was excellent it kept me interested through out the entire book. The love scenes were mild and could have been a bit "juicier" but appreciated none the less after reading excerpts from " 50 Shades of Gray"
The narrator was really good she nailed the Russian accents with out making you cringe each time words were spoken by the Russian characters which says a lot because there are narrators out there that have actually hurt my ears so harsh was their pronunciations.
All things considered i can whole heartedly recommend this book.
