Good story writer so, if I can find one that does not take the Lord's Name in vain and does not have all the filthy language.
NONE, I hope.
Interesting story only.
Disgusting language is NOT necessary and leave Jesus out of it.
This story kept my attention right up till the end! Take a high IQ young woman, fake IDs, murders, Russian mafia, and a great rural police chief; what's not to love! Narration was good, too.
This book is such an excellent read and hearing it on audible was such a great experience. This is my favorite Nora Roberts book and she has written so many winners. The characters are beautifully developed as you would expect from Nora and the narrator brought them to life with her tones, accents and intonations. The plot was engaging and was just what I was looking for when I first read the book a couple of years ago. Doing household projects while listening to the Audible version provided many delightful hours
of listening pleasure. It is truly worth the listen!
This was an incredibly sweet, very well-written love story, with elements of mystery/thriller. Absolutely the ONLY negative was that it does have a few fairly explicit sex scenes. Normally, this is a deal-breaker for me - something that would cause me to return the book without even finishing the story...
But I lived the story and characters so much, and the scenes were handled tastefully enough, that I just decided to fast-forward a bit in those parts because I NEEDED to know what happened to the characters next. Apart from a handful of sexual scenes and a bit of cussing, it is just a fantastically told, very wholesome, heartwarming story of live and redemption.
I wish the author would rework it a bit to release a "PG or G rated" version, so I could share it with friends and family who would ONLY enjoy it without the sex and cussing! This is a truly gifted author, and a truly enjoyable story!
