The entire book.
Enhancement to the character. Very relatable.
This book makes you plan or think about the importance of planning ahead--it makes you cautious and weary of others motives.
I hope the author keeps writing books like this one.
Dog lover & book addict.
Julia Whelan is a great narrator. She embodied the character well.
Nora Roberts is one of those authors that I have a love/hate relationship with her work. Some of her books are great! Some of them, just eh. You never know what you're going to get with her. This one was pretty good. I liked it from the beginning. Likeable characters and a plot that moved at a good speed. If you like this one, I'll also recommend Carolina Moon.
An incredible read! I've never rated a book before, but this was a must! The narrator was fantastic and the story and characters were so well developed. Just enough suspense and romance. LOVED EVERY LAST PAGE!
I could not stop listening to this book. The narrator did a wonderful job with the voices, her inflections, and the pace. The story had suspense, intrigue and a sexy romance. Who could ask for anything more in a book.
Great story, but had to fast forward through the painful, at times nauseating, detailed "feelings" descriptions. My first novel by this author. I should have recognized the writer for her romance style writing and not have relied on the inside the flap description.
Love the story line . The suspense was off the chain. Love changes things mix was cool and did not take away from edge of story. I was very impressed with Nora Roberts story telling narrator's ability to become the characters.
I would recommend this book.
I listened 3 times that is RARE that's why a 5 star rating
I absolutely loved the characters in this story. They were real, and described to a T. The narrator was able to inflect additional character qualities by her tone of voice making you feel like you were 'listening' to a movie rather than a book.
Yes, the story line was intriguing and the suspense while not immense was enough to make me keep listening to find out the ending of the saga.
Elizabeth aka Abagail was my favorite. My second was Brooks.
The character coming to the realization about her mother, her upbringing, her role in events, and most of all the enormity of falling in love.
