Avid reader and journalist deploying my pen in the service of this planet's visionaries.
Beautifully performed, but unfortunately a hackneyed plot and character development. Main man is a horrible guy who doesn't change despite his experiences. Kid is loveable but completely unlikely and unrealistic.
Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy are fantastic narrators! It especially helps that Ron can pronounce Edinburgh properly!! I've started buying books solely because Ron and Orlagh are narrating.
The book itself is a perfect start to a series and makes you NEED to get to the next one.
Many twist and turns, very entertaining.
Fun listen. Reader is clear and uses great inflection. Like having a man and a woman reading.
The narrator makes Robi sound old. The story was easy to follow if not a little far fetched. But hey I guess that's why I listen. It's all one big fantasy.
I aud a lot of books.
Pretty much junk. Entertaining, I suppose. It could have been a short story easy enough.
Jim in Idaho
This was my first listen for this
Author. I was pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed the narration. I liked that it had been augmented with some sound effects and also separate narration for the female portrayals.
Some of the storyline felt a little predictable but the overall plot was original. Will definitely check out the next title in this series
Love my Kindle
This series continues to rivet the reader (listener).
Narrators tell the story in its unfolding glory.
Highly recommend in any form book or recorded.
