I found this to be one that was hard to put down. You kept wondering where the next bullet was going to come from and from who?
Realistic and believable every step of the way. Story line intrigued you thru out the pages.
The action that took place in the safe house when Robie noticed the red dot on Julie's chest.
No one is safe anywhere
Sad commentary on men who have served this country but not provided with the help needed to adjust when they return. I know it's just a book, but it rang true for me. The government can tract you and knows what you are doing but does not step in to help.
awesome.... excellent.. kept me on the edge of my seat... characters very realistic.. and our hero is very lovable...
the story line was very well written and the characters were very true.
Loved this book ... kept you guessing throughout till the end ... great character and hope David Baldacci brings back Will Robie in his future books.
Baldacci is an excellent story teller. I would recommend it to anyone.
Great in audible.
A painter who reads and has three boys and four dogs and a d.h.
I enjoyed julies plight, very paralell to my own life, and very relateable.I loved how julies real dad introduced himself. I truly enjoyed the protagonist' role.
At times the story line was complex. Too much death and weird explotions and gunshots.
The narration was great, its wonderful for auditory learners.
I heard this over a four week window of time.
I got this for my d.h, but he criticized it even tho he should relate to the military aspects, being retired navy. I just had to hear it by myself, and I liked the suspence and the great ending.
It was very suspenseful.
Yes, I couldn't put it down
I have to have a book that will keep my attention and this one did for sure.
This is a good book from David Baldacci. The plot is tight and action packed. The characters are likable. The book kept my attention till the end, although I did figure out the bad guy early enough in the story, however it did not spoil the story just a bit of a let down for the ending.
Performance was fine
I would defiantly recommend this book.
Wife to one, mom to six, lifelong lover of books.
The storyline was so improbable that I had a hard time suspending reality. I really like David Baldacci but I am disappointed in this one.
The relationship between the main character and the girl.
Yes, they are excellent readers. I especially like Orlagh Cassidy!
I didn't finish the novel but it started getting pretty violent toward the end and I just didn't like that.
I will give David Baldacci another try. He is usually really good! This one just didn't do it for me.
I continue to read Baldacci, but this one was a little to unrealistic and seemed to follow a formula
Not really as the young girl was of little interest. Work on Maxwell/King series pls
