I looked up the Bible verses he quoted in the first 3 chapters. He should stay off of Biblical theology because his interpretations have nothing to do with the historical interpretations.I really enjoyed There's A Spiritual Solution to Every Problem which he did 10 years or so ago. This book disappoints me because his Bible quotes are so off context. He quotes John 10:34 "Is it not written in your Law, I have said you are gods? He is using this verse to claim that we as humans are Gods. Actually this verse cross-references to Psalm 82:6 usage of "gods" or Hebrew "elohim" which refers to Jewish law and those in earthly powerful positions such as rulers, judges and the like. It does not even imply that we are to be like gods. This is just one example of what I am talking about in his interpretations. IMO he is off-topic on these quotes. Just beware and do your own research. Personally, I am not going to finish it.
Disappointment. I expected a lot more from him.
have read only one other W.D. book and loved it this is to much reference to god. maybe i should have read intro more thouroughly.
no, was the first book i have bought from audible but no happy to give it another go.
was not keen on the fakey american accent
was so looking forward to lying in bath and listening but very boring, not sure if i will listen to any more.
I already have listened to again. I'm sure it will be one that I plug into more down the road. I have read or listened to Wayne Dyer for over 40 years. He just gets better with time. You can tell he is totally in tune with spirit. I love that he shares his life and lessons with all of us.
Absolutely! I listened the first time travelling on the highway. What better way to pass my time than have Wayne himself entertain and teach me. By the time my trip was done, so was my first reading of the book. I have read (listened) to again while doing housework. Equally as enjoyable.
I will listen to the audio book again in a year's time to refresh and re-orient my brain!
