The reader's tremendous job made my experience of listening to Timeless most enjoyable.
I love so many of the characters for their many layers. My favorite character in this book of the series is Alexia for the culmination of her growth over the series.
My favorite scene is when Alexia returns to the hotel after the kidnappers' second visit.
Great series finale.
Alexia is hilariously practical.
Yes...without question. How dare work intrude on my listening!
These reviews are done by his wife :)
Loved the characters!
If you love True Blood Books you'll love this series
The wrap up of all of the characters
Entertaining, Inventive, Elegant
Lady Maccon, for her sass
The voices and characters, one can tell who is speaking by the way in which she speaks
I didn't think I could be happy with any ending to this series, as I enjoyed the characters so much; but Ms. Carriger is able to tie things up and make one feel good about the characters' future.
I am in love with these books and the wonderful plays on words, the silliness, the adventures of a strong female character. I got lost in each book and now, having reached the end of what is available, wait with baited breath for the next and the others that follow. Ihope the author never tires of stories or of this series and I truly hope the narrator stays with the series. She is PRICELESS. Her intonations and accents are perfect and precious!
Emily Gray is now my favourite actress for audible books. I love how she brings the characters to life, each their very own and special accent or tone. She maintains consistency throughout the series and I truly appreciate that.
The development of characters from the previous novels and the combination of genres, there's romance, action, mystery and humour.
Of course Alexia is fabulous, but there is such a well-balanced ensemble of characters that it really is too hard to pick.
The fight scenes in the the Alexandria hive, or any with descriptions of Egypt.
Something witty, I'm sure!
I'd love to see the earlier novels in this series recorded as audiobooks. I wouldn't recommend listening to them out of order.
Lady Maccon. She was the main character that kept everything together and moving.
The voices! She has an amazing ability to give each character their own voice.
When Lord Maccon fell out of the balloon after being shot.
By the 5th book Carriger has really developed the characters into distinct people. I hope she comes up with another idea for these or other characters from The Parasol Protectorate. It felt like the ending was rushed though.
The fall from the balloon
Mummys cause supernatural chaos to be put down by a woman with no soul, but a lot of heart!
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all of the series. Couldn't wait to listen every day.
