Jane is not the stero typical vampire, it is a nice change.
Saying goodbye to Aunt Jetty and Gilbert was sad.
Try the whole series if you like vamp with a twist you will not waste your dosh.
I listen in the car while i drive. I have eclectic tastes in books and if it interests me I listen till its over.
Yes it is time well spent.
The ending was good and leaves room for more in the series.
I like any series that combines humor, vampires and rednecks. Sounds like a great series.
If you don't get the joke this book is not for you. It's fun and funny.
Amanda has a great voice and I often look for her work.
This series never disappoints.
I like the author and the narrator for this series.
I thought this book was good, but I thought the plot was reaching a bit to find the catastrophe.
Her voice and inflections are terrific.
Nerdgirl who loves to read and listen during a nasty 2 hour daily commute. Mostly listen to intelligent stories to escape road rage - love s
Molly Harper is witty, creative and highly entertaining. Every character makes me laugh and I just love them all so much. Jane is an extremely funny main character but even the characters with less page space are just as hilarious. The narration is amazing - each character has a distinct voice and there are no mistakes. Jolene is so funny and her "voice" is one of the things that I love so much about her. Mama Ginger, Dick, Gilbert, Aunt Ginny, Andrea, Jeb - I adore them!! I have a very long commute (2+ hours a day) and this series on audio is one of the things that make it bearable. Don't miss it!
If you've read the other Nice Girls books, this one won't disappoint. Reading these books Jane is like an old friend and Half Moon Hollow is home. It's always great to hear what everyone is up to and that Jane's life is beginning to settle down, or so you would think. Trouble just seems to find her. I can't wait for the next installment of the series. Thank you Molly Harper for you ablitiy to create characters I care about and your heavy dose of snark and sarcasm.
My only complaint is with the performance, it's not Amanda Ronconi's fault, she is wonderful at reading Molly's books. But the sound editor needs to work a little harder when editing this together. You can tell when a single sentence had to be edited it, it almost sounded like someone else was reading it not Amanada.
I highly recommend this book and the whole series.
Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors definately ranks in the top 20 of all the audiobooks I've listened to. Amanda Ronconi is the perfect narrator for this series and really brings Molly Harper's stories to life.
The best part of the story was the trials and tribulations Jane goes through learning to be a mother. It was very touching in parts and also very funny.
I have listened to all of Molly Harper's books with Amanda as narrator and this one is every bit as good as the others. In my opinion there could not be a better narrator out there for this series. Amanda has just the right amount of innocence balanced out by the right amount of sarcasm to make this another hilariously fantastic listen.
This book made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion.
I've enjoyed this series and Ms Ronconi does a nice job of the accents. I hope Ms Harper continues to write books in this story line!
I love Molly Harper books. This one didn't disappoint. Very fun - new angst so the schtick isn't getting stale. I can't wait for the next one.
