Tell us about yourself!
I like this book a lot it keep me guessing. I had to read the next book. I would recommend this book to my friends and family.
The character interaction was more interesting than the plot.
Narration was great.
I am sure you could.
Seriously terrible sex scenes, sorry but they were gross. Also, it says he broke some 'law' to save his mate- couldn't find that one in the book. Finally, I hated all thepet names he called her. Angel? Ugh.
Say something about yourself!
I'd like to see more of this series here. This was a good beginning and though the story between this particular male and female was well settled in the end, there was much more storyline hinted at that didn't get wrapped up. Of course, that's the point of a first book in a series.
Unfortunately I looked on Amazon and there is one other book and a novella out now and another book due out later this year. So it'd be great to see those on here.
Kristen Potter was a decent narrator for this book. If I had to find a complaint with her, it would be the lack of separate voices for each character. That's not a requirement for me, but it does add something to the story.
I'd recommend this book, but if you're the type who doesn't want to wait for the next book in the series, you might want to put it on your wishlist and hold off.
Most likely. I enjoyed the book enough to listen again. Not all books are worthy of a second listen. Also, I thought Kristen Potter did a really good job with the narration.
When Jaxon is hurt and very weak from not mating. It was so memorable because of Kira's reaction. It was extremely sad and I couldn't help but cry. Another memorable moment was when Jaxon and Kira released they love each other.
When ChurpChurp (?) was sleeping on Kira's stomach, Jaxon came across them. In that scene, he knew he loved her. Also liked how he became close to ChurpChurp.
Yes, made be laugh and cry.
I love stories! You read it or I will; show it to me in a theater or on my TV. Entertain me with well-developed characters & plots. I'm in!
I've been listening to more vampire stories lately but this shifter story caught my eye via searching for Kirsten Potter. She is my second fav narrator (Marguerite Gavin is my all-time FAVORITE storyteller) and this sounded interesting.
The story starts out with intrigue, conflict and red hot wolf rescue of the damsel in distress. I was hooked within five minutes. This take-the-scenic-route-home story kept me interested until the very last minute. The world and character building are thoroughly entertaining. The secondary characters in the Alpha Pack have great personalities and I hope Sariel's story is next! Jax and Kira are a couple I enjoyed getting to know as people and as wolves, and their sex life? Sign me up! I will definitely be looking for the remainder of the books in this series and downloading asap.
Nothing. From the 1st chapter, this book is poorly written werewolf porn. Graphic juvenile masturbation and numerous gradeschool descriptions of genitals make it difficult to follow the awful story.
The writing, characters, story, and narrator.
Hell no! Please save your credit.
All of them.
I wanted to claw my ears off.
I absolutely love this author. I have already read this entire series, but I loved having it read to me. The narrator was wonderful and did an excellent job with the reading. As always, J.D. Tyler did a great job writing this story. She provides the necessary background for the reader to understand what is going on and why these men are like they are while weaving a story that holds your attention and makes you hunger to know what is going to happen in the future. She literally drags you from book to book, unable to wait for the next installment. Well worth the money and time to listen to it. It WILL NOT disappoint.
This could have been a good story, but there was just way too much over the top sexual content. If you are into porn, this one is for you. Not me. I would have wanted the next installment as far as the basic story went, but have no desire to even listen to it because I thought all that graphic and unbelieveable sex just ruined the story." Do you like that Baby?" Give me a break. If you cut out all the graphic sex, the story was really short! I felt sorry for Ms. Potter having to read that trash! And no, I am not a religious zealot, it was just way, way too much.
All the over the top, graphic sex. It just went on and on and detracted from the story.
Won't be reading or listening to anymore of Ms. Tyler's "Sex" books.
