Consistancy would have been nice. It was so all over the place and ridiculous I found myself wishing I could go back to the previous chapter to make sure I was even on the same path as where it seemed to be going.
Absolutely everything about this story was a snore. Too much french, too many choppy chapters and jumping all over to the point where i no longer even cared and stopped listening.
She was great. Excellent french and inflection
Anger at the waste of my credit. This is garbage

Everything and anything
The out come is obvious before the first chapter ends. The process of the trial is obvious when the women are being interrigated. I probably will not even finish this books the story is slow boring and no suspense involved. The death of the women in prision is forshadowed to be obvious, the treatment is obvious once we know who was killed. the rest is just so far beneath Patterson that it is hard to put into words.
all the french words Her voice is hard to listen to when she is trying to be a man and when she is speaking french.
none so far. I am on chapter 40 or so and so far nothing has perked my interest or given me a reason to continue other than I paid too much for the book.
I am finding the last several books written with other people are getting harder and harder to listen to or to read. The old Patterson seems to be gone and the new one is not nearly as good and does not live up to expections.
Tell us about yourself!
From start to finish the book stayed on course. Narration was perfect and that made this one enjoyable book. Highly recommended.
The audio edition was well performed, kept the right pace and was very enjoyable.
Abbie, because of her survivability and strong will.
Haven't listened before. Enjoyed this performance.
I generally cannot listen or read in one sitting, but I found it hard to put down when life's demands called for it.
I am a data warehouse admin with 2 kids and a long drive to work/drop off schedule. I love to listen to audiobooks during my commute!
The story was a bit predictable, and I felt miserable for the characters during the middle of the book, but it held my attention. I loved the reader though...great performance - I would definately listen to her again.
the story line was good, loved the narration
I had an idea whom I thought was involved, but never really sure.
Reading has always been my guilty pleasure. I would take stacks of books from the library. Now I listen to Audible.
Excellent narration. The story was good and held my attention. A little brutal at times. I liked it.
I enjoyed this book very much. Several times during the book my heart was racing with the suspense. Reminded me of that movie "Taken".
Very interesting book and gives good insight into some foreign jails and law enforcement.
No; very well narrated.
Interesting story, suspenseful and was almost ruined by the horrendous French accents. I also thought it was odd that the guards spoke French to the prisoners, but when speaking to the warden, they all spoke English. Probably for the listeners' benefit. The first half of the story was too long, especially information about Abby's trial and experiences in prison...painful. The heroine speaks Spanish, French and English which is the reason for the title of the review. Did she ever get a bed to sleep on? Infidelity is ok if you are rich and 6000 miles away from your spouse. Jealousy is an ugly thing. This story illustrates the saying that money cannot buy you happiness or love. Talk about disposable income! Due to reading other reviews I almost did not read/listen to this story. The story is not choppy. Yes, unrealistic (I hope) because it is fiction. First reaction is that it is awful, but hang in there it does get better.
