The story is obvious and predictable but that doesn't matter because, well, most of this type of story are boy meets girl, they have great sex, they have misunderstanding, it all works out in the end with more sex. The writing is decent and the performance is terrific except that all the males sound the same way and she' not that great at male voices to start with. But she gets all inflection and emotion right for the woman. It's very short and has only 2 or 3 sex scenes that weren't really all that hot but were not poorly written. Fresh and sweet and short is what I'd say overall.
Yes, it was a great shorty story
Comparable to a very short, short Grey series book
She was easy to follow, could picture the characters
I would recommend this book to a friend as this story is not just about quick, wicket sex although the sex is a big part of the story. This book is also about personal growth.
The one thing I liked best about the story was that the characters both the male and the female appeared to grow outside if their comfort zone during the story.
Felicity Munroe brought to the story a texture of the time, place and chacaters that could not be obtained just through the reading of the book.
Yes, I had an extreme reaction. I am sure people thought something was wrong with me as I appeared to be laughing for no reason.
I purchased this as a quick read during my commute and was so entertained and involved that I continued to listen once home. It is seldom that audio book so entertains me that I continue reading once home as I usually have several print books that I am reading at home at any given day.
Say something about yourself!
The premise in of this story is a good one, but it just didn't pan out as well as I'd hoped. It was still worth the time but I wish it had been a better developed story.
the story was not too bad .. really rushed from point a to b in no time at all.. and then in the middle of the story line it cut in and out.
the rushed tone
no I love her
even though it was on sale.... I wish I had not wasted my money
Quick, fun, predictable
Sure, it's a fun quick story
The first sex scene.
Its a quick fun book. A bit predictable and a little too rushed but still better than others.
The storyline started out okay but I really didn't like this type of story. I guess it depends on what you are into...
The romance angle didn't work for me. It was like sex, sex, sex and then the last minute was romance. Not believable.
She did a good job of bringing the story to life but I just didn't like the story
Same ole same ole "insecure plain jane gets the hottest guy in the room" story. I didn't mind these stories at first but now i'm kind of weary of them..but it was a short and ok read.
I enjoy historical, paranormal, and contemporary romance. Also steampunk, sci-fi, fantasy, suspense, and fiction. I'm open to about anything
This is, afterall, erotica. Not much romance (though there is some), but nice, hot sex. The characters are sort of adorable beneath the game they play.
Could have been longer.
I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
I liked the idea of the story. Jamie was hot and I'd be somewhat interested in seeing where their story will go from here. However, this book was very boring and predictable all round. The sex/ love scenes were not romantic or hot in any way. Lucky it was cheap enough so won't bother returning. Would I read it again...no.
