Ambitious, Fun, Funny
Nick of course his sarcasm makes me laugh quite often
Spoiler (When nick finally stands up to his mom and she forgives him later anf dosent treat hims like so much of a screw-up they are tied for my favorite scenes in this one)
Laugh a lot between sherrilyn kenyons writing and holter grahams voices
cant wait for the next one I truely wish these were a bit longer they are a great break from the Dark Hunter books the author is famous for
I always love Sherrilyn Kenyon!! This book was great, one of my favorites yet!
He always does a wonderful job!!
A great finish to the 3 book series with room to continue the adventure. Read the 3 books in order as one leads directly into the next. I enjoyed this series and look forward to new books in the future. Magic, growing up, humor, Action!, Romance. This series has it all. Enjoy
His accents, emotions that he conveys throughout the whole story.
Once again I can't walk away. The narrator is wonderful. If you have never read Sherrilyn Kenyon books you are missing a wonderful vacation from reality, just that boost you need in the middle of a long hard week to get you recharged and ready to go again.
Fun, Comedic, Drama
Nakota is definately my favorite character! I love how she brings out the best in Nick.
I've listened to the entire CON series and they're all very well done!
yes i think Graham give the book, a little something more.
The scene in Bubba and Bubba's mom. i think that Bubba is one of my Favorite of Kenyons characters
yes, when i know that Graham is the Narrator i have a level of expectation
Avid reader/listener of romance, action, thrillers, and spy novels.
Oi vey, Nick, Ambrose, Ash, everyone in the story. I'm so glad they're back. I love how Kyrian sticks up for Cherise. He's great. They're all great.
Everything- it was a great continuation of the series. I really like how personal it all is. Makes the listener able to relate with the characters.
Mr. Graham is the best narrator ever. I love how he narrates and gives each character their own voice. He could read the phone book and make it sound completely intersting.
YES, darn job.
This one will not disappoint.
This was a fun read and because of the narrator Holter Graham this is a book I will listen to multiple times. The story is interesting and it gets better with each book as the time traveling twists pile up and new revelations This will also make a great series to listen to with the main Dark Hunters series, especially after it is done and we can go back to catch all the revelations.
I'd loosely compare this book to Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince because this installment really focused on the fact that Nick is a teenager with all the emotions and circumstances that brings, especially with his circumstances of being poor and feeling like now one ever seriously listen to him or believes in him, especially his parental figures. There was a lot of that teen angst in Harry Potter book 6 and that's OK, because we can all understand where Nick is coming from, I felt my own temper rise for his sake a lot in this book because I've felt like he has and got emotionally involved in proving him right.
He has great narration and he changes his voice enough to give the other characters voices their own personality. His voices have real inflection and emotion expressed in them when he speaks their words. While I would reread this book again when the series is over just to catch all the foreshadowing hints and time travel hijinks clues, listening to him makes it more fun.
The greatest moments of the book for me were the beginning when we finally got a big revelation about future Nick's past' that we had been waiting for for 2 books and near the end half when young Nick took a moment to grow up some and realize who he really loved and was able to overcome his inner demon and take a terrible risk to save that person.
This book is worth getting, especially if you like the Dark Hunter series. Unlike most of her other heroes and heroines in this series Sherrilyn really gets a chance to develop her characters personalities, histories and voices because all the drama doesn't have to be tied up in one book so each book gets the build on the last one and characters get to slowly develop real feelings over time. That fall in true love over a week thing that is common to romance and books that are half romance genre really annoy me because it is so unreal, but I put up with it in the DH books because everything else is awesome, but in this series the relations ships feel more real and natural. I like it.
