Already have and he loved it too.
Anything I could write about would be a spoiler. Let's just say memorable moments include both action scenes as well as the ever witty dialog.
I couldn't imagine I would have done justice to the perfect interpretation of the characters' personalities that Bronson has brought. He truly made these characters real people with believable powers.
Just really good writing and narration. Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Reminiscent of X-Men/New Mutants with a 1930's backdrop. Learned what a dirigible is.
Like the first book, well paced, fantastically stupid in the best way possible and true fun to listen to. There are even parts in this one that will cause a chuckle. When the Iron Guard asks Sullivan if they should stop and discuss feelings over tea, I couldn't help myself. Really great fun. Makes you want to get back to it.
Pinchot's performance remains top notch. He's really good at this. There was a bit more saliva background at times than the previous book and his new take on Lance and Dan were atrocious, but generally, his voices are great and help create the environment. Well done.
so far both of the books in this series have been excellent! Bronson does an excellent job of voicing the characters. I have basically listened continuously (waking hours at least) since I got the first one. I can't wait to read the third book!
I hadn't realized that I had previous purchased this and the follow-on Warbound novels in MP3 audiobook format. I recall now that it was because the last two books weren't in Audible format that I decided to purchase the MP3 versions.
With that said, all three of these novels were well written and entertaining to listen to.
if this series had an equivalent to music im pretty sure a cog-level Beethoven would be involved-the books are more interesting with each chapter and the progress is at a pace that rivals most of televisions great shows like Breaking Bad,Sopranos, or the Golden Girls...
as always-i cant wait to download the next book..great job.
