Great, great, great
All of them. I would totally start over with a new set of characters
I have been a fan of this series for many years. Up to this point I have read them all. This book was filled with profanity and 4-letter words. It was as if the author did not have enough story line and used profanity to fill the pages. If that is the kind of book you like, then this one is for you. For myself, I will stick with Vince Flynn, Lee Child, Mike Connelly & the other mystery writers who truly have a story to tell.
Hey, this is one of the twice yearly Eve Dallas mysteries set in the near future. It is not literature, but not everyone is a Hemingway or Falkner. Eve and friends are up to their badges in it again.
Most of the Eve Dallas mysteries, while a series. can easily be read as a stand-alone as is this one, but reading or listening to the book from which the
I love the voices that Susan Ericksen comes up with. It just isn't the same to read these books. I have to listen to them and hear the voices that go with Roarke and Peabody and even the Commander. The Story was good as well. Did miss Summerset. Another great book in the IN DEATH series!!
Another captivating book by Robb. Never a dull moment. Hard to put down
I would recommend the book. I am going to make one review so this will apply to all. I listened to the first book and I was hooked, I had to listen to more.
I would recommend any listener to listen to the series.
Ms. Ericksen bought the characters to life, each one seemed to have a distinctive voice and personality. I could always tell who's who.
Every book had a scene in it that had you moved if not to tears almost to tears, but always to laughter.
I listened to the first book to the last and I loved everyone. If you are going to listened to any of the books start from beginning to end you won't be disappointed.
Susan Ericksen is a master in bringing these characters alive. I am Irish and really enjoy Roarke's accent as one of the main characters. Peabody is another endearing voice. I have read most of Eve Dallas' excapades but enjoy them again listening to Susan Ericksen weave her magic. This latest book doesn't disappoint.
I love to read espionage and criminal thrillers. My lifestyle doesn't allow time to sit and read so audio books is really an enjoyment.
Yes, it was a very well written episode and it had a little different twist than normal.
Really none of this series is quite like this book.
This book was more about detective work, outside of the main characters. Even though all of the normal stars were included in the book. None of them were really involved, physically.
There is no excitment and little to no feeling in the new characters and the regulars fell flat. There seemed to be no inspiration just meeting a deadline.
I will continue to with this series. I like the base characters and until this book have found the stories great and engaging.
I love the inflection, the tone and the individual cadance Ms Erickson give each person
