Maybe I'll give examples for beginners. I don't think that beginners may benefit if the story is about a big company. In the final third part, it gets better.

There are some good concepts but mainly use Linkedin to maintain a business network. Opportunities exist within 3 degrees of separation. Don't feel I it took a lot away from the book.
I did like how to have a plan a, b, and x. If you have make plan a and b work and if they both fail you have a plan x the risk is not as risky as one thinks. I like how it was laid out in the book.
Mainly talked about using Linkedin to keep up your business network and you'll go further in your career. It's an OK book.

This is another self help title in this category of life coaches, personal trainers, psychologists and whatever else that we need to know to succeed. I'm not a fan in this genre at all because it's really just all common sense that one should know as they roam through the Earth, but yet some of us can put the two together and seek for an expert to tell us what to do. I'm sure many of Hoffman's methods works at getting ahead in their career, but do we need another Dr. Phil telling us what is right? I found that most self help books are just a big infomercials to boost their products for dot coms. Most successful CEOs write in this genre to boost their egos to massage their success. The value of having common sense is a rare trait these days.
This book is a great primer and back up techniques for using Linked-in in an effective manner

No, it is a long audio book, so I took 30 minutes every morning.
As a newly impacted worker who is late to the LinkedIn party, I bought the book looking for tips on how to effectively create my page to help with my job search. While these were included, the book included contained information and strategies that will help make me a more competitive, effective, productive worker. I'm sure I will refer back to the book for reference as my career continues to evolve.
I have recommended this book to most of my friends already. I did so because this book can give you the tools necessary to think more clearly about your career and what you should do if you are tired of limiting your potential.
It did make me smile a lot. Also it made me say -
