It finally provided information on Mitch's early assignments.
Irene Kennedy is my favorite. She selected her man, Mitch, stood by him through training and prior assignments and continued to champion him with others.
I would have liked to listed to it all at once, but simply can't get that much time together.
Vince Flynn is one of my favorite authors and I always look forward to his next release.
Mitch is my man
Twists and turns as usual
Any where mitch kicks butt
I loved it front to back
I hope they find a way to keep them coming. I really hope Vince can fight his way back to health, with the determination of his character, Mitch Rapp. But if not, it would be fitting, to let Mitch live on by finding a way to keep the books coming, but only if somebody can cloely follow Vince Flynn's proven recipe and style exactly.
This is my 3rd Vince Flynn novel, and so far I think it's the best. Having read (listened to) American Assassin first, it was good to get closure on the whole Rapp-Hurley-Victor relationship. The plot was awesome and one again George Guidall delivered an excellent performance.
Not just one-the entire story line was amazing
One of his best works. He is my favorite narrator/performer/entertainer
I will start by saying that I have never been a big fan of author who take a well developed character and write what can basically be considered a prequel. Mitch Rapp is one of my favorite characters and I will admit that I fully expected to be totally underwhelmed and disappointed with Kill Shot. I thought I already knew who Rapp was and really wanted a continuation of Pursuit of Honor but it is actually more of a continuation of American Assassin.
Kill Shot, although the 12 book about Rapp, like American Assassin it actually takes place before Transfer of Power. It is good background on Rapp getting to know what made him the cold killer that we see later in the series chronologically.
Guidall is great as usual and truly is the voice of Rapp the way I imagine it in my head.
I was not underwhelmed nor disappointed as expected and must say that I really enjoyed Kill Shot but I am ready for Flynn to bring Rapp back to the 21st century.
Please, please, please, have George go back and redo the early books butchered by Nick Sullivan.
Timing, inflection. He may not have a broad range of voices but he is a first rate reader.
A real thriller. Mitch is set up to be killed by someone in CIA but who can he trust?
Mitch of course. He's a great American....
So many but to prevent a spoiler we had to rewind the scene when Mitch promised violence when he would enter a certain room.....well told.
Several made us all say rewind!
Outstanding performance of a great story. Thank you producers and Vince Flynn.
I could not shake the feeling that I already have heard part of this story - hence I find this story regurgitated. I love the Mitch Rap series and listen to every book this I have to say is the most boring one. I hope it is not a trend.
I can not say enough about George Guidall as a narrator. His voice of Mitch Rapp is exactly the portrayal of the character.
Vince Flynn delivers another great story about Mitch and his early exploits.
A must listen.
