Probably, because I would want to.
Pretty much did keep me actious to read it all in one setting.
Several, loss of friends is are to do especially the end.
Author is doing well with out my Marine Corp training help.
Really loved this one in audio version. The narrator was outstanding at depicting the different character's voices and the urgency (and danger) of the situations. I'm sure that the print version would be good as well.
Steven Weber was oustanding in narrating this book.
This one hits the nail on the head with detail! I was drawn in to the characters and the story. I found myself in tears on a few occasions. I would highly recommend this book!
Yes- I think the second time would give me a better feel for the scope of the writing including all details.
Yes-I didn't really know how the plot was going to come together at the end. I didn't expect the ending
A very objective persona similar to what I would expect Navy Seals to be in real life when on a mission.
No-It was easy to follow in segments
I am rarely seen without my headphones on and my iPod clipped on my waist. I love my books.
This book gives the reader a very realistic view of what it is to be a Navy Seal. These are special warriors that go to battle in the most extreme circumstances. I am grateful to that I had this opportunity to peak at what goes on in their lives. It also gave me some idea about what the families of these brave men must endure.
I did not expect that I would need so many kleenex to finish this book.
You won't be sorry to spend a credit on this one!
The detail and action was great - had a long drive and this book kept me going until 3:00am
This was a great book. I did not want to stop listening. A great insight to some of America's greatest hero's. Thankfully, we have men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms!
The fire power they can unleash on the enemy.
The prologue was very moving.
I need to see the movie!
I have always been a huge fan of Tom Clancy's books especially the Jack Ryan Series, and as a verteran of the armed forces and having had MANY relatives in the service of our country, this is a very powerful story and can even open the eyes of those hardened veterans. I would have to say that if you are a veteran or even active duty and do not at least well up with emotion toward the end of this book you need to re-read it again you missed something!!! Bravo Tom Clancy!!! Bravo!!!! Cant wait to catch the movie!!!!
A quick listen that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The tatics and technology employed in the story are fascinating and keep you engaged. The storyline is relevant and draws you into the story.
Yes, absolutely! It was a pleasure to read about heroes that are not obsessed with booze, sluts, or obscenities. Heroes that can care about each other, their families, and their country. In my experience, these men and women are a more accurate portrayal of real Special Operations warriors than many found in fiction today. I have recommended this book to more people than any other I have read since A Prisoner of Birth.
