Beautiful emotional breakdown
I loved how it showed a different perspective on the lives of people dealing with terminal illnesses.
I haven't unfortunately, but Kate Rudd did a perfect job narrating this book.
This is the first audiobook that I truly loved but did not want to finish, there were some parts that were so heartwrenching I just had to take a moment before I could continue. Truly an amazing piece of work.
I thought this book was great.
It's about a support group for teens with many different types of terminal or life altering illnesses. They were all bright and quick witted and I really appreciated the raw, self deprecating humor the main characters used at support group. Nothing is sacred. Just raw emotion. They formed friendships and relationships that will last an eternity.
It also gives you a glimpse of their lives at home and the struggle their parents went through as they tried to make their lives at home as normal as possible.
I think anyone would like this book, especially someone with a terminally ill child.
I loved feeling like I knew these characters personally. I like that feeling of getting lost in a book and it feeling like you're really there. Everyone is so personable, that it's hard to not get attached to at least one character.
If this book doesn't make you cry or at least tear up a little, you must not have a soul, because it's literally so heartbreaking at times. Listening to this story, it really just takes you through it. It's pretty awesome.
I really love this book. It's not because I'm a teenager or because I'm seriously ill because I'm not either one of those things. But because the book really got to me in a life-affirming kind of way. The book made me feel like just appreciating everything around and nothing is too small to appreciate so I so much want to thank the author and I thought it was read beautifully by the narrator also.
thanks so much
I recommend this book to everyone who loves romance/sad books
I loved this book
I choose my rating because this book was fantastic but the girl who is reading it can get fast at times and hard to pay attention but other than that it's great 💯
I loved this book. I don't have cancer but I live with chronic pain. I felt I could identify with the characters and the troubles they had and thoughts they thought. Worth the read.
