Mark Levin reveals the truth about the Left
The deception of the left
The enslavement of mankind
They both compliment each other. One way or another the words must be digested in order for one to contemplate the weight of their vote in this next election.
His erudite elucidate summarization of past philosophical and utopian works and their effect upon our society as a whole. Definitely mind-expanding!
It was a treat to have Mark introduce his book and a pleasure as well to hear Adam's voice.
Yes, every time he succeeded in sparking a illuminating moment in my mind. Step by step he earns the right to be known for his successful textbook-like approach for us. In the end we learn what we didn't perceive not knowing and add his insightfulness into the index of our thoughtful existence.
The words emoted for this book audibly are truly words to inspire liberty!
Levin does an outstanding job of surveying the landscape of Utopian thought. His logic and substantive arguments for its impracticality are watertight. I have bought copies for two friends so far and intend to buy at least a dozen or two more. Well done.
Absolutely! You need to read all of Mark's books.
The telling of the truth about liberalism's flaw.
No! This content must be studied in great detail to determine how to read it. Actually, you have to by the book. It requires a dictionary to understand ALL the significance of the content.
The subtitle is correct as is.
It's now or never. We change direction now or America dies.
This book outlines all of the features and benefits of a free, individually-based society versus collectivist societies, using the writings of the collectivist. Any American would benefit from hearing this program.
Though I knew of his theory of forms, learning of Plato's vision of a perfect city was definitely an eye-opener.
What is the true cost of giving up freedom?
Mark not only explains the founding fathers reasoning in the various components of the constitution, but also the various influences on their decisions. This should be required reading in order to register to vote!
As some of the other reviewers most of this book is an OVERVIEW of several Utopian visions, including sizable excepts from the works he cites followed by the same treatment of the great works of those of such writers as Locke, Tocqueville, Montesquieu, and so on. This approach does as good a job establishing what exactly is America's intellectual foundation, and as important, what is not. Levin finishes the book with a couple of truly amazing and sobering chapters, supporting his claim that America is already spoiled by Utopian programs that are more invasive than anyone cares to admit, and how they got put into place. Those who want to understand the erosion of the once Land of the Free will appreciate this book.
The last couple chapters should be required reading for any voter. I was stunned by the statistics and facts presented. Those chapters were set up by Levin painstakingly presenting the core of the Utopian visions.
Mark - Quit being cheap with your time on your audiobooks! Nobody can match your passion in reading your words, and this is the case with the reading of Ameritopia.
Wake the heck up!
Better for some, I really enjoyed being able to listen while I worked.
Freedom loving people who throughout history fought the tyrannical utopian masterminds.
I loved learning about the philosophies behind the founding of The United States.
I cry over the sad state the leftist utopian masterminds have brought this once free nation to.
A defining work! If you want to understand the greatest conflict mankind faces this is the handbook. Throughout the history of man the despotic masterminds have used the lie of a utopian paradise to fool the masses into tyrannical submission. Mark shows in his groundbreaking book just how close the radical left has brought this once great nation to its knees. I pray we are not too late to stop our latest utopian mastermind
This is a book that should be read by every American. Thank you once again Mark for your insite and understanding of our country and what makes us so GREAT.
Great information but it is read in a monotone voice by levin and the other narator. Non of the passion in the radio show. Great info but please read it better.
Great illumination on how the world works. Idea wise I would rate it as A++
Nope because I think the narration ruined the book. I can't read any more because of my eyes but I might have to bribe a friend to make a recoding for me.
How Utopias don't work :)
Can they please redo this audio? I would buy a better version again.
