I loved that this story was so true to heart. No fluffy sugar coated nonsense and you feel like you truly know the man behind this story. It makes what happened that much more horrible.
Is a guy's book but still with a soft side. I have always liked the military so I truly enjoy this book. Well written. The narrative is able to keep you wanting to know more
Totally recommend it.
A sad story. I feel sorry for his family as much as I feel sorry for the families of all his "righteous" kills. He is as much a victim of propaganda as they are.
The story was temporally nonsequential in parts. This did not add to the "feel" or understanding of the story. It lacked "flow" at times. The stiory was very interesting , though. Definitely worth the listen, especially if you missed the movie like me. I did feel more patriotic after listening and am inclined to donate to veterans groups rather than my traditional donations to animal rescue organizations.. I am proud of and grateful for American warriors like Chris Kyle and the sacrifices of all of our armed force.
