Thank you for your service and giving all for your country. we are all blessed because of people willing to fight for our Constitution. Chris kyle and Mark Laterral. Both hero's in my book. I only wish there was someone in in the White House I could be proud of. ...
Get inside the life of an American hero. I found his life leading up to his leaving the Navy inspiring. Chris tells of his upbringing and eventual enlistment into the Navy. His Iraqi deployments are gritty and understandably hard. Chris was a Patriot and a great American. The world is a lesser place without him.
I would have to say, moving, detailed, and honest.
I really enjoyed the pure honesty of Chris' story. He goes in-depth to all his feelings when many key events happened and it really helps you try to relate to how he was feeling.
His performance was great. Really easy to follow along with along with getting into the words and acting out emotions.
This book moved me and really changed my way of thinking for soldiers. You never really know whats going on unless you are one of them, and this gives a civilian a look into the life of an elite soldier.
Growing up with a father in the marine corps and hearing his stories made it easy to connect with Chris kyle's story. I love his patriotism and the respect he has with his fellow military men in all the branches.
This book was referred to me by a coworker who had previously read it. I am planning on seeing the movie and really try my hardest to read the book before I see the film version. I'm not sure who I was listening to the whole time but he really helped draw me in! There were times in the story where I could hear him sound as if he was going to cry. It really helped covey Chris Kyle's life. I have a connection to the military so it made it even more real. I'm making my husband listen to it now!
