Just a book fool.
simple romantic and fun
This book will not change your life BUT Jack is worth reading. Despite the lack of amazingness I found myself coming back for more.
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.
Another twilight type book. Good brother, bad brother. The persons I liked most in this story was Milo and May. They were the most honest I felt in the story. Milo is a 15 year old, but acts like he is 25, at least he has more sense than Alice. May is the mother type vampire figure, who tries to counsel Alice about making a decision of becoming a vampire.
If you want to read another vampire story then read. Its a rather tame story, not much action.
I really enjoyed the story line. I am a huge fan of the Twiglight series and this book seemed to be more compatable with that story line than any others I have read. However, it does have an original plot of it's own. I am hoping the story will continue with a sequel. The characters are intresting and easy to get involved in.
Twilight series. Vampire, Human, Forbiden love. Family complications. Vampire law complications.
Hannah's voice was annoying. she tried very hard to convey emotions but for her it was futile. Again the girl who narrarated Twilight. She did a super great job. Please if there is another book in this series, get a different narrator. Hannah Friedman is not very good at all.
When she was told of the story about leaving your loved ones behind.Alice was taken to the house where the female vampires daughter lived and told the heartbreaking story of not being apart of your own childrens lives. I almost cried. I have a 5 year old daughter and I could imagine the devistation of being an outsider in her life.
Some Twilight fans may scoff at this book because Twilight is so wonderful. But if you are looking for a little more of the same you will most likely love this book.
Hello, I'm Adrian. I'm engaged to Nichole Braddock and love books! Though I don't have much time to sit and read so I listen... But audio books whole new universe! They make old books new and new books classics! I myself get into some moods and don't write the greatest reviews. Forgive me. I like to review books but it just feels too much like work to me :p
Right from the beginning it acts like a mystery that just screams - He's a vampire! It's so generic. The generic names really aren't so bad, but the story is so unbelievably plain and obvious. Add this to the slow and boring narration and all I want to do is fall asleep. Though the idea is interesting enough to keep me listening. After trying another book by Amanda Hocking narrated by someone else, I wonder if someone is telling these girls to narrate it in a way that makes you want to fall asleep. The book Switched is even more soft spoken and slow. Like they wanted to suck all the life out of the main character at the very least. Though the other characters, mostly the guys seem to have more life to them than the girls… And worst of all it sounds like the author is just trying to remake Twilight… Without the mystery, even obvious as it was, this one sounds like a joke playing off of Twilight. Its clearly not over the top with character development… But that actually makes it seem very normal. The very plain normal like reality TV without the drama. So for that reason its pretty interesting.. Just like a train wreck...
The story has a lot of potential but was lacking and some of the choices that were made were just annoying. The main character was annoying more often than not.
Some of the characters were great and should have been focused on more while some of the least interesting characters were focused on too much.
It's just ok. There were not enough differences between the male voices and they sounded to feminine.
If it were it would just be ok unless it was just based on the book.
Find a better narrater
Not sure yet
The narrater should have read the book before she actually taped it. She may have sounded a little more prepared.
Yes, It was short.
Tell us about yourself!I have been reading constantly threw audio books sense a verry small age and have never lost the love of them.
I enjoyed it all. The naration and the plot. It was different than many Teen fiction that I had read in the past. A nice change.
I really enjoyed getting to know Peter. His charactor had a lot of iner termoil and I liked that.
No I have not but I was verry impressed. Her voices are believable and bring the book to life
Yes and indeed I did read it in one night.
Some of the others reviewers did not seem to like this book. i respect their appinions but I really have enjoyed it as well as the reast of the books in the series. I would not say it is the best book ever and it could have a little more action but in all it is a fun read. You learn all the people in it well and the romance is great. It takes fun twists.
