My headline says it all. In this audiobook you'll find supernatural creatures, Molly Harper's humor, fun storytelling, interesting characters, madcap moments and Amanda Ronconi's flawless narration.
It's not deep or profound but its a great way to spend a commute.

It's also in my # 1 file folder.
Miranda because she is like another Jane Jameson. Things just happen to her that keep you in stiches all threw the story :)
I Love her ! ! ! Her voices are unique and real. You can actually believe the characters are there with you. She put the accents whee thwy belong.
i laughed so hard that I cried :)
Need I say more? Get all her books, yiou won't regreat it ! ! !
Give me water to swim and surf in. That with a glass of white wine and the sun. That's heaven.
I never saw the print version, but immensely enjoyed the audio edition with the narration of Amanda Ronconi. Those crazy Half Moon Hollow folks never get boring.
The fact that no matter how many jobs tlhe lead character took, she alwalys failed until she found her nitch in being a chauffer for the dead. With the interplay it was full of heart and laughs.
The vampire who was unused to modern devices was hilarious in the way he was played.
I thought it was continuously funny that caused you to laugh all the way through.
This wasn't as good as The Care and Feeding book. This one was a little predicable but still a light, fun book.
I liked how uptight the vampire was in contrast to the driver and their dynamic/interactions.
A little more complexity of the back stories of the characters.
Loving my life and hanging out with my four grandchildren!
This book goes into my top 20 picks to re-listen too. Very very enjoyable and funny!
I loved the love making sceen. Why...Collin! Just could feel his sexyness!
Liked both lead characters about the same. It was enjoyable to hear them grow and come into themselves.
"Driving Mr. Dead" can make you feel so "alive"!
I couldn't wait to get my house cleaning over with so that I could sit and listen to the rest of the story. Will enjoy listening to this one over many times! Looking forward to hearing more of Molly Harper's books. This was a first time listen, but it will not be the last!
Maybe, but I wouldn't go looking
To people who read this kind of thing, and asked for a recommendation.
What every narrator brings the ability to do something else while you listen
No, if it was I wouldn't watch it
This new series set in the same world as Jane Jameson is just as hilarious. Miranda is trying out a new job as a driver for vampires. She and her first client have a few bumps along the road, to say the least.
Molly Harper has an odd sense of humor that makes me giggle from the beginning of her books until the end. This was no exception.
The lead character. She has amazingly bad luck. It is fun to watch her figure her way around her problems. She isn't always successful, but it is a fun read.
Ms. Ronconi is adept at reading such sarcastic humor in just the right way. I cannot imagine anyone else reading books by Ms. Harper. They are a perfect fit!
I certainly finished the book in one day, but not all at one time. It was a great book to read while I packed up my house for moving. It made my move seem much less daunting!
I wish the book had been longer. The plot line fleshed-out a bit more. For instance, why was the boyfriend so unwilling to break up with our main character? But that is just me. The longer a book, the better I like it. I hope that there are follow-up books to this one. I'd love to see what other dilemmas the main character can encounter! Thanks for another fun listen.
I am a hopeless bibliophile and audiobooks are perfect for me. I get to read and keep my hands free. Perfect for a busy mom/ nurse.
I have enjoyed all of Molly Harpers stories. I wish there were more installments. The combination of her writing told in Amanda Ronconis voice is always a winner. Molly has a sense of humor that I truly enjoy, but I look for everything I can find narrated by Amanda.
I loved when characters that I already know and love were seamlessly woven into the plot.
Made me feel like it was a story that could stand alone, but also like sitting around with friends hearing stories they haven't told yet.
The vivid character descriptions bring you right into their world. I never find myself questioning the details, just laughing at the character quirks.
From unlucky to loved, it was a rocky road.
