This book was fun and a creative spin of the vampire/human romance story. The characters are interesting and likeable. They are people you wish you could really get to know.
My only dislike is that the story was WAY TOO SHORT! I would have loved to hear more about the vamp governing group and more about her family.
Miranda is my favorite as she has a strength to go with her persistence in the face of some truly wacky mishaps.
I found this listening experience to be highly enjoyable. The storyline so quirky as to make me laugh out loud.
This was actually my second visit to Half Moon Hollow, and it was a fun one. These books don't take themselves too seriously; they're simply light, easy reads and that's fine by me. I enjoyed the characters and the setting and will probably buy another Half Moon Hollow book and/or others by Molly Harper at some point in the future (when there's a good Audible sale).
Amanda Ronconi did a good job narrating, bringing just the right tone to the story.
I would definitly try another book from both Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi. The book is a joy and Amandas narrative is wonderful.
The scene at the motel when our odd couple is attacked by rednecks.
Would love to see Stellan Skarsgård and Cameron Diaz in the leads if this was made into a movie :)
I don't know if I thought this book was as funny as everyone claims but it was a good read. I would recommend it to a friend.
I think it would be Miranda. She's hilarious and only gets into trouble every other minute or so.
She did justice to the hilarity of the situations and I love the way she can pull off a rant!
It made me laugh out loud more than a few times and I loved the chemistry between the two main characters.
This is a must read. I've read all of the other Jane Jameson books and they've all made me laugh out loud. This one takes it over the top with the hilarious mishaps!
Comical, Witty, Strange!
Collin Sutherland was my favorite character - When he began to change and morph You could clearly see that he was not persnickety or stuffy.
I've only listened to Amanda Ronconi's perform books written by Molly Harper. The accent and emotions she puts into her performance does the book justice. I was not quite happy with the voice of a character from a prior book; you will likely guess which one I am talking about.
A charming roadtrip full of disaster!
Molly Harper does a great job bringing a modern feel to the ancient vampires. The way she brings the night time characters together with the daytime characters is great. This story is full of calamity and adventure.
Sci-fi, detective, cozy. Only give 5s to those books I think stand above the rest. 4 is a good solid book. 3 is average, nothing special.
Well written, well narrated, quirky, just plain fun. Fast forwarded through the porn, but the rest of the book is a hoot. Wonder if the can release versions without the porn?
I believe in true love, happily ever after, magic, and laughter. But mostly I believe in coffee.
Driving Mr. Dead was a very fun book so it ranks in the top 10% of my audiobooks. The story and performance were well done.
**Spoilers** My favorite scene was when her car goes over the cliff and well... that was fun.
I had read other Molly Harper books before, years ago, and knew she was a fun story teller. I enjoyed this story and look forward to catching up on the other books of hers that I've missed over the years.
Yes, very intertaining
Liked it all
Reminds me of Janet Evonavich books, except with vampires. - Loved it.
