I didn't have any expectations, however I knew I needed a refresher course in spirituality and this book delivers.
So happy after listening to this. I could actually feel a shift in my energy field.
Looking forward to the days ahead.
I found myself engaged throughout the book. I had many opportunities to try out what he was suggesting. Though I don't agree with some of his logic or analogies (i.e. quitting cigarettes actually is more complicated than just not putting cigarettes in your hand), I loved his overall messages, goals, and the means to achieve them. My chattering mind is not "me," and it doesn't have to run my life. Energy can get "stuck" inside me. My heart "closes" way more often than I recognized. By avoiding pain we actually make it worse for ourselves. Great book.
My only other gripe is that the narrator would always drop off the end of sentences (volume, pronunciation) so that I often couldn't understand or hear the whole sentence.
Brace yourself you will never few the world the same again after this masterpiece. MUST READ for anyone seeking true enlightenment. Will leave you at peace for more.
For the last year I have followed Tolle and Chopra ' s teachings. Thank you Michael for your bluntness, your to the point writings and your euthanisms. I finally understand what it means to be centered and what I need to do to to get there.
Out of the many personal growth books I've read (or listened to), this one has simplified and explained the most complex ideas in the easiest way using metaphors and examples I could clearly grasp.
I can't stop recommending it to all my friends and family now!
This is a straight forward account of the steps to living the highest level of ecstasy. It is a modern, I want to say neutral approach. I am familiar with the writings of many cultures and religions on this topic, and Mr. Singer brings the teachings to a new beautify simple level. At the end of the book, some versions of what he speaks are discussed , but what is most significant about this book is the way it lays down the path in familiar daily experiences, and ties them logically and beautifully to the goal.
