Believer in what you can't see
Suspensful, loving, supportive
When Conner arrives in Virgin River after Leslie tells him that she was hurt when she help her neighbor get rid of her abusive boyfriend.
They are all excellent
Yes, I think I have actually listen to this all in one day. It is to long for one sitting.
An enjoyable read, on its own or as part of the series. I originally listened to the books as I came upon them and enjoyed them so much I listened to them again in order and enjoyed them every bit as much the second, (or third) time around.
Moved to Stratford Ontario in 2014. Listen to my stories at night in bed mostly. Like narrators that aren't too loud or shrill!
As far as romance novels go, the Virgin River is a good series. However, I don't think that I can enjoy too many more of the stories because of the formula - girl meets boy etc.
I find the loves scenes are unecessarily too graphic - somewhat pornographic.
I like the setting for the Virgin River stories, and the friendly/family atmosphere.
Therese Plummer is a great narrator.
I have listened to all of the Virgin River Books. This one is not my favorite because it does not include enought about previous characters. I have listened to over 400 books. This one ranks in the top third.
When Leslie understands that her ex-husband is the one who is at total fault in their failed marriage. She is not only adequate she is a very organized, loving and a caring person.
I love Therese Plummer. She is above average. I not only listened to the Virgin River series she does but to other books she has performed as well.
I like Connor, but Leslie is outstanding. She is confident, witty and very likable.
I only wish that Robyn would have mentioned a few more of the towns people than she did.
Over all the book was good and I enjoyed the new characters.
I rarely listen to a novel for a second time. That is just me.
If time allowed I would definitely have listened to it all in one sitting. As usual, however, I listen mostly while out walking for exercise. The book is easy to pick up and resume without any loss of continuity.
I enjoy all of Robyn's stories, and the Virgin River series in particular. I feel as if I am part of that town at this point. My only criticism of this - or any others in the series - is that I want more of each story. I enjoy hearing about the characters and their lives.
I have listened to every Virgin River story by Robyn Carr, and thought how and where can she take the characters in this series. Well shame on me. Robyn brought fresh characters in so smoothly and believably I was astounded. Great story and great narration as always. Keep it up Robyn, wish I could visit Virgin River!!
Audible started me reading fiction again. What a treat to have professional actors narrating a book I may not have had the time to "read".
Not as good as other Robyn Carr stories. I'm also getting VERY tired of all the explicit and gratuitous sexual descriptions. I know I'm not the only reader who finds this repetitive, offensive and unnecessary.
Good story all the way through. Good characters. Done by a really good author and great narrator. Will always equal another hit for Virgin River. What a great place it would be to live!
