I really enjoyed this story. It was very well written and extremely detailed. I was able to connect with each character it was like I was apart of the story. The bond of the two main characters is indescribable. Good job Tracy Brown.
Loved this book! I reunited with my one true love after 20 years and the love and magic that we once had is still! Ooooh how I can relate! My favorite part was when Jada called Bourne at 4:00 am. ;)Great book! The narrator was awesome!
I was a bit sceptical about this book at first especially because of how long the duration of the audio was, But from the first chapter to the last I found myself to be Excessively Captivated. SUCH A WELL TOLD STORY! It was worth every second, type of book to turn a non reader into a reader lol I give it a 10/10 hands down. Im eager to read pt 2 because part 1 was sooo good I genuinely don't see how it could be beat.
Coldest Winter Ever by Sista Soulja because of they way it captivated the reader from beginning to end.
I am constantly listening to different books, and they are all good, but this one tops them all. I could really vision the characters in this story. There were times that I cried because there were happy and sad moments in the book. I really felt sorry for Jada in this book. A lot of situations that she was in made me sad for her. There are a lot of lessons in this book. It is very realistic.I recommend this book to everyone. It kept me on my toes from the beginning.
I did not read the print version,
The beginning when the author explained that she is not glorifying the topic discussed but merely providing insight into issues that plague so many people in this country.
I would have made sure she understood the New York accent and that she understood how to pronounce some of the names and brands mentioned in the book. Some times her annunciation disconnected her from the story and characters. It didn't take away from the story but it was distraction.
