It was fun to hear the story on my iPod. I could do other things and hear my story too.
I read and saw the Wimpy Kid movie, so I already knew about it.
We have been snowed in for the last couple of weeks and also hit by the flu season. These books have kept my 9 and 12 year old boys huddled in the blankets for days. They love this series and highly recommends them! But my 9 year old says "Don't do what Greg does, if you know whats good for you".
I have an 8 year-old and an 11 year-old who were thoroughly entertained by the narration of this book during a long car ride.
The "power outage" - Manny in his room with the heater and food.
My daughter loves listening to this book I wish more were audible. It encourages reading.
My kids loved listening to this while in the car. It even kept them from killing each other when the ride was extra long. It was also delivered in small digestible chunks. Just what a kid needs.
The reader was great
love Audible- glad this was available, used it for reading homework
would be nice to adjust the speed
yes, because it is a story you can listen to over and over again.
My favorite character is Greg Heffley.
I think that the print version is a little better because I could see it on paper better then visualizing it .
I liked when Greg said I wear sweats to bed so Santa can't see my underwear.
I liked how she could pretend she was so many people.
Yes, I thought that Greg's friend should be more involved in this book because he was the funniest character.
Yes, she's listened to it at least 3X.
She likes the voices - although the same person she can tell who is who.
My daughter is reading the book and she says its just not as exciting and sometimes the way Ramon says it is much funnier than when she reads it.
I bout this book for my 8 year old and she loves it. I on the other hand think it's just the ramblings of a badly behaved little boy. maybe it's just me but a lot of the things he gets up to are just sad and the way he talks about his parents is so disrespectful. That being said, there are far worse things a child could listen to but I doubt I'll be buying anymore of them anytime soon.
No. I think the kid is a bad influence.
