It was fun to be reminded again of his New Rules.
Bill Maher's New Rule can be the best part of his show. Maher has a comic timing and phrasing that I like.
Yes, about the same.
The New Rules are really old New Rules from his show. It would have been better if there had been some new New Rules. But maybe, I have my head up my....
The way he views people and current events, it's very insightful and critical but funny.
Can't say, too much content to pick one single thing.
The way he expresses his ideas.
It made me laugh, of course.
Yes, he shoud make more audio version of his shows available for those of us who do not have access to his TV appearances.
I like Bill Maher and his no holds barred comedy style.
When you watch Bill's Real Time show on HBO or listen to the podcast the 'New Rules
The New Rules poking fun at politicians are usually the funniest.
Nothing or no one is safe from Bill Maher's humor, especially if you are famous, do something stupid, or better yet, both.
While I did enjoy this selection of new rules, it was a bit odd having all of these little disjointed segments strung together into a "book". Bill is always good for a laugh and even a bit of intellect, but this one may best be enjoyed by those who really love Bill Maher.
I was expecting that I would have heard most of this already, and I had -- it's a collection of material from the "New Rules" segments on Real Time. But I usually re-listen to the shows anyway because they're so good, and I always still find the jokes funny the nth time I hear them.
The key to the success of this book is that Maher is the narrator; comedians really need to read their own material.
I enjoyed it, and I think it'll be a great audiobook to have handy on my Audible app for when I want something to listen to while I do errands, etc., but am not in a situation where I want something I need to concentrate on intently. The only drawback will be trying not to laugh too hard at the voice in my head (well, in my earphones anyway) when I'm out in public.
You can be either party and you just have set side any differences to laugh at his introspection and honesty. I'd love to meet this guy one day for coffee. Even if you don't see eye to eye on political grounds, this is made me have to repeatedly stop during my jogging because I was laughing so hard. Nice job, Bill. (I had to ding you one star on story because I'm not a Democrat.)
Loved his delivery and genuineness.

Well.....I bought the audio expecting a few laughs. At least a few, but really I thought there would be a lot. But NONE???? I was surprised and disappointed to say the least. And I will ask Audible to take the book back. I hate to lose a credit for this lame book.
The way he articulates and makes sure you get the joke
The different topics he covered
he's just the man
exciting, incising, unsparingly funny.
A man who says so much has no stance.
Who is he, really?
