This story provides a great look at The Old Republic, the Sith Empire and continues the story lines of the Knights of Republic video game main characters. Excellent narration and sound effects/music provide an immersive experience for the listener. HIghly recommended.
A true Star Wars fan will ignore my warning, but if you are debating whether to spend your Audible credit on this or something else, I would consider something else.
I never played the games. That said, the story was mediocre. If you know about Revan from the internet and his mention in other books, and not from the video games, you'll be disappointed to find they turn this legendary character into a rather boring, ineffective weakling that stumbles through the events of the plot.
The only redeeming element is Lord Scourge's story, and even that seems a bit forced.
Listen to this one last, preferably after playing the video games probably.
This is one of the best performed audiobooks I've ever heard. the extra production effects make it sound like an old radio drama. Very well done.
Good story, good delivery, but my biggest complaint is when Niris is fleeing Nitheema and she does leave the cockpit until she was on the edge of the solar system MILLIONS of kilometers away. ROFL!!! It should be hundreds of BILLIONS.
Thus story takes place after Regan has been through the Hyperspace war, become a sith and come back to the light. on his road to trace his steps and stop a new evil in the galaxy.
Even though they come from a video game, the old republic are some awesome SW stories. This is one of my all time favorites.
the narrator has the perfect understanding to what Revan must be like.
felt the dilemma in Revan , the conflict, the Force.
I will not say I don't want to ruin it.
the only good Revan is a bad one.
