Fire the narrator
Never heard any other books narrated by MacLeod Andrew but he almost ruined this book for me. The women all sound the same and he made the children's voices sound terrible.
I just love this story and I love the way MacLeod Andrews reads it. He gives every character their own voice and never gets them confused. Good job everyone, especially Nora R for writing another great story.
LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! I want to visit this Inn! This was such a good listen that I just could not put it down! Its sweet but hott when needed - real life hott! Simple but oh so good book! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Waiting on my next credit to get part 2...maybe I should wait until part 3 comes out...?
Story is nice Nora Roberts style, very easy to listen and enjoy, if romantic stories interest.
Good narration. Bit too long story, but that's what I'm used to with Ms. Roberts.
No, have not listened other MacLeod Andwers's performances before.
Overall I really enjoyed listening to this book, and I've already started on the second. The narration isnt as bad as some say.
The women's and children's voices were so unbelievable I couldn't listen to it. If I could request a refund I would
I always enjoy her love stories and the decorating of the inn was interesting.
I have heard Mr. McLeod read other stories and he is good at it, but not for this book. I thought it was awful.
Haven't read the print version.
Nora Roberts is ALWAYS dependable.
When Lizzie saved Claire by getting Aubreys attention.
I loved the boys!
I love Nora Roberts love stories. I do not like the murder and violence that she writes under her other name and that was beginning to be in her love stories. This book brings back the enjoyment of small town life, interesting women and men, and of course a good love story.
A man who would babysit three young boys for a woman has to be a real man!
He is GREAT. He gives a wonderful performance and his manner of speaking is special. I particularly enjoyed his speaking in the passionate part of the story. His little laugh was just right in the moment. I would love to hear more from him.
Yes, and over and over again.
Great story, wonderful story teller, can't wait for the third installment and hope their can be more to these stories than just the three brothers.
I don't know why, but whenever I hear or read the narration is by a man, especially for a book of romance, I duck. I just have rarely ever heard a man's voice that even comes close to a woman. It's generally a turn off for me from the get go. I only wish producers would listen to us, the listeners when choosing the readers for their authors. So, I'm sure that this book could have been better if read by someone like Lauren Fortgang who is an outstanding reader of romance novels. For example listen to the sampler of Bad Boys Do. It certainly could have made a huge difference for Ms. Roberts audio book. In fact most of her books could do with better narration.
