The whole thing
He does a really good job on all the female voices.
Another great series, I can't wait to listen to the 3rd book and see what happens with "Lizzie."
Not sure have only listened to te audio version.
I like them all. Easy to listen to.
I really enjoyed it.
Have already purchased the second book and cant wait for the third one to come out
Yes, this is a lovely story, full of romance. I really enjoyed it
All of them! It's refreshing to hear romance read by a male, and of course he brought the men to life... and the young boys were great too
I have never read or listened to any of Nora Roberts books and I just decided to give this one a try. I quickly listened to book one and book two without knowing that book three wasnt even available yet! So now I am hanging on the edge to hear what happens and I cant wait for the final book of this trilogy!
The story was intriguing and interesting however the language and sexual content was intense. The writing is good and really does not need these elements to sell the talent of the author.
The reality of the characters and the relationships.
His voice paints a picture and brings the story to life.
I would love to read more from is author but I think the lanuage and sexual content will keep me from doing so in the future.
I liked this first book in the Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy, it is classic Nora Roberts. You fall in love with the characters in this book. I like how the book revolves around the remodeling of this old Inn. I know that in the other reviews people complain about how slow the narrated reads the book, and that he has problems with female and children voices. But I find that the slower pace of the Narrator is good for this book, but he does have some problems with children voices.
The fact that it pulled you in from the start and made you
want to hear the rest of the book
Lizzie, the ghost
Wonderful story. The detail in the descriptions of the Inn makes me want to go to Boonsboro MD. I've even mapped out a trip for the future to include a couple of nights at the Inn. The narration take patience to get used to. He does an excellent job with the three brothers & with the younger women. Unfortunantly, his voices for the children & the older women go to the extremes. Good news though--I listened to the second book in this serie which is narrated by the same actor & he does much much better.
Once again, Nora Roberts delivered a great book. The narrator does a pretty good job at making each character sound different. I must say though that it was torture listening to him try to perform the children.
