It was an entertaining book to listen to on my drive to work and back.
Both characters were likable.
Great reading from Paula and Tavia.
Not a deep book at all, but it was a fun read and I love this author and the narrators.
I gave this three stars across the board because one story was excellent and one wasn't.
I haven't read anything else by Lynsay Sands, so I'm not familiar with her stuff. There seemed to be some interesting premises, and maybe some of her other books from this series would be good but I just couldn't get past the creepy old dude lusting after a young woman. Not the mental picture I want painted for me. And referring to his genitals as "little teddy?" Ick. Can't forget this book soon enough.
Home for the Holidays
Had this been the only book this download would have received five stars across the board. Jeaniene Frost continues to do an excellent job with the Night Huntress series and Tavia Gilbert does a great job with the narration. As always, it left me wanting more.
The download is worth it for Home for the Holidays. Just don't feel bad about skipping The Gift. I wish I had.
I love to read, but Audible makes it a great experience..
Yes, It was a great story, I loved the older cop pretending not to like the young chic.
The bear attack, him trying to protect her and she's immortal
I like both these authors but the story that stood out the most for me was Cat and Bones. Jeaniene Frost brought a new story line of Bones past that I was not expecting. Don't want to spoil it for anyone but this story is a good one to hear.
I am not a fan of these narrators but they are not all bad.
No, I had to take a brake no and then.
Give me water to swim and surf in. That with a glass of white wine and the sun. That's heaven.
I would definately recommend this audiobook to anyone who believes that all things are possible with the right circumstances. This book was written in such a way that the romance and tension is still there at the end.
The way the story built from an easy read to a story with romance and humor.
Paula Christensen did a very good transition and with the fantastic Tavia Gilbert, the book comes to life.
Christmas comes to Fangville
The Bite Before Christmas is Teddy Brunswick's story. The chief of police from Port Henry, is a lonely man reluctantly looking at retirement. He never dreams that he could be a lifemate to an immortal like his two best friends. Caught in a snowstorm, with no power he meets Katricia Argeneau, an immortal, who realizes that Teddy is her lifemate. Her aunt, Marguerite Argeneau, advised her to go slow with Teddy and not scare him away. It's a case of instant attraction, fun and . . . .
The writing was very funny and made for an enjoyable listen.
I would reccomend it because Lyndsay Sands is a fabulous writer with a very funny approach to the subject matter.
The other 2 writers did not grab me nor pull me in to the story. I really did not listen for long.
Lyndsay Sands book was, yes.
Very disapponted in this book. Waited with great anticipation, only to be let down with a short story. I hope Ms Sands is not losing her touch. The Argeneau's have much more life left in them yet and hopefully a better book is yet to come.
yes i would have like it to be longer. jeaniene frost more words on wats going on how its happen
well when the cop was turned an he though he was in heaven
