I loved this! Being a Walking Dead junkie, I loved to hear how the governor came about. And the characters came to life while listening, which always decides me on the total rating.
Would love to hear more!
I've gone through all the books in this series (so, far) and loved every one of them. These books tell the story from The Walking Dead TV series but from different characters' point if view. Also, when the TV characters do come into this book the story follows but with some differences so there are some surprises still in store.
I think the voice acting/narration of this book was done very well and I think would be better than the print version.
If you can't get enough of the Walking Dead AMC show then this book will totally fill in the empty time between TV episodes allowing you to satisfy your zombie cravings. I also loved getting the back story of the Governor.
Learning about the history of the Governor. Interesting to find out just what caused him to become the monster we saw in the TV series.
No, this is my first but it will not be my last.
Given the time I certainly could have.
Great book and anyone that is a fan of the comics/show will probably enjoy it.
I never read the comics (wish I had), but love the show - how cool to see the Governor develop from 3 days into the plague to his arrival in Woodbury - WHAT A TWIST!!
I travel the country setting up at comic, toy, sci-fi, and horror conventions. Audiobooks help with the travels.
Yes, it was quite entertaining
The plot twist that changes everything. Must read.this will change everything of what you know.
This was a truly enjoyable book. As a fan of the TV show, the story of the Governor prior to Woodbury was never really told. It was great to see into his mind, into his experiences, and bring about understanding to why he acted the way he did. Insight is always key with complex character, and this book starts to give it. I am in the midst of book two, and enjoying it immensely.
