I believe Ellen is really at her best in this book, it's funny, it's sharp and her narrative is really amazing.
Ellen takes us to a lot of her everyday activities and we find out that she's just a human being living at her fullest just like most of us.
The performance by the author is just what this books needs, it's hilarious without falling into plain comedy.
I spent the whole time listening... laughing.
Simple topics, not funny. Was I supposed to laugh?!
Ellen reads it well, just poor content.
Would get my money back if I could.
I love Ellen, but was disappointed by this book. It was boring, with few laughs and honestly, that's sad because so many of the points she was making were very poignant & important. I'll give one of her other books a try because I really like her, but I doubt I'd recommend this one.
