As far as Sandra Brown I find her books to be hit or miss. The story is a little unbelievable and it drags especially early on. Overall I like her books, this one was a miss.
Well read but the story just did not hold up. Way too much poor kids stuff and an ending that was just too far out. I have enjoyed some of her other books, but this one some how got off the tracks. Some interesting moments, unfortunately over shadowed by the poor and unbelievable story line. I could not wait for this book to end while hoping for the best.
Say something about yourself!
I wasn't sure I'd like this but it was a very pleasant surprise. I could NOT put it down, so to speak..
Wow, I really enjoyed this book, it's exactly what I was looking for. Great story and I loved the narrator. I couldn't put it down, in fact, as soon as it was over, I started to listen to it a second time. I've already recommended it to friends. Sandra Brown is becomming one of my favorite authors. I'll try Envy next, hope its as good as Lethal.
I couldn't wait for it to end. I sped through parts of it. so much narrative spent on the mom and the 'bad guy' when he held her captive...boring and so unoriginal. I won't be picking up a Sandra Brown again for a long time.
Come on is that the best you could dream up for an ending? The FBI's guys wife is head of a criminal organization? You have got to be kidding me. The ending stunk.
Yes, It was a very good story line and the unexpected was the best part.
The main character appears to be the bad guy, but he turns out to be the good guy.
Yes, Victor Slezak has a very good reading voice.
It's good but I am getting tired of short stories. Get me a 16 hour novel. I really don't mind paying a bit more for lots more intrigue.
