Migraine sufferer trying to take life one day at a time.
Dave Ramsey brings his usual banter and style to the topic of leadership with an entrprenuerial edge. He writes from experience and shares like you and he are having drinks after work and this is the end of a long week. He tells of the stupid things he's done, and the smart. He's funny and warm, honest and basic, sassy and smart.
Dave always shares life experiences with his audiences that hit home. This book is no different. It is geared toward small business owners wanting to add that special touch to the mix of things and succeed in their business. If you've listened to any of Dave's books before, this is no different, While there is not that much focus on the Baby Steps, the basic Ramsey principles are still present.
Yes, because I enjoy them.
Yes, he gave the individuals mentioned personality by mocking them and focusing on their importance to the overall team.
Every home should have a stash of Ramsey books.
I have liked Dave Ramsey other stuff but held off for a long time on this book. A big mistake there is so much real world use full stuff in here not only for the entrepauner but also people working for someone else.
Couldn't be better!!
Vice, Organization, etc.
I love this book!! I mean audible book!
I'm a fan of Dave Ramsey, so it was great to hear him read his own words. You can hear the passion and belief he has.
Only to his podcasts, which are more spontaneous by design.
Dave Ramsey is outstanding in this book, as usual. His narration brings the content to life, as he shares stories of the successes and failures that shaped his business. An excellent listen.
A good read on entrepreneurship, ethics and growing your business. The principles, at least most of them, are nonreligious but he occasionally quotes the bible chapter and verse. I didn't find it too distracting but it will certainly turn some folks off.
Yes, lots of good practical advise. Plan to listen to at least once a year to stay on track.
Dave! He's like a coach and a teacher in one.
I did not laugh or cry, but it spoke to my core values
Audio book is an easy listen...I own the book as well as a reference.
Simplicity. Down to earth.
I have messed up. Wish I knew about Dave 5 yrs ago.
I'm on my second listening of this book because it's so rich and full of so much great information.
I listen to his radio show a lot, and as always his use of tonal inflection and personality make listening to him enjoyable.
Yes. I only listen while I drive and many times I would delay getting out of the car because I didn't want to top listening.
