This was my first time listening to Dave Ramsey and I enjoyed his no nonsense direct teaching as well as the stories.
Being a business person I like that he has 'walk the walk'. Brought a lot of experience to the program.
Hes very enthusiastic and energetic.
I wanted to listen while working in shorter time increments. Ended up listening to it twice back to back.
Great book, but for those of us who listen to Ramsey its pretty much the same thing all over with just some new topics. Ramsey seems to point all his publications at people who know absolutely nothing, and this one is no different. The ideas and content in this book will be new to you only if you really haven't read any other business or leadership book within the last 20 years. Good stuff and Ramsey does a great job (as always) but nothing earth shattering here. Just my candid opinion and if after reading this review you don't want this book anymore then you should ignore my review. I will be listening to this audio book several times to make sure I can recite the content practically from memory. Really fundamental stuff that we all need to hear a dozen times over just don't expect to have your mind blown.
I am looking to buy a small business and my confidence level and enthusiasm has sky rocketed since listening to this book. I am currently on my second listen.
Learning organizational and Entrleadshership skills.
I have taken FPU and continue to love listening to Ramsey's advice.
I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.
There are many other books out there that have much better content for people interested in leadership skills and entrepreneurship.
This book is very much based on religious faith, though it is not mentioned in the description.
There are some good (though arrogant) sound bites in the first 2 hours.
However, I could not get past the "faith in god" as a business success and leadership skill drill (and I do mean "drill")
If you believe in a god, and if you believe he is invested in your business success, this book is for you.
The is a very educational read. A must have for the new business owner
I do not have a favorite the book as a whole is one of the best
No not really I listened for a while and then I would let everything that I heard sink in the I would go back to it later in the day.
As usual, Dave Ramsey delivers in this audiobook. His outline, description, and explanation of an entreleader is spot on and makes great sense. I gave the book an overall rating of 5 stars, the story rating of 5 stars, and a performance review of 4 stars. The reason for the 4 stars being, I would have liked to hear more about applying entreleadership principles into other aspects of life, not only business.. and a little more talk of personal growth in an entreleader capapacity. It is a fantastic book, and I find the things that Dave covered to be true and CRUCIAL in running a healthy, functioning business and being an effective, respectable leader.
Dave is a great Speaker and he is also very good at relaying his message.
These are commons sense things that all business owners should know and live by. Sometimes we just need to be remoinded.
I will listen to this book once every quarter.
This book is so good, and it got me so pumped and motivated that I had to stop reading it. I would listen to the audio book for 15 minutes and had to stop for 30 minutes because my heart was pounding to much. This is really a great book.
If you are looking for a solution to a poor company culture this is it. The change starts with the business owner. And this book takes you by the hand and shows you the way.
There really some hidden nuggets in there.
Nice wrap up.
Love this guy!
Great insights and one-liners.
Great especially for small business owners, or even for cubical dwellers. Great for motivation but also loads of common sense and practical application for business owners
