Very entertaining book. I laughed out loud so many times. I really love the narrator's spin on each of the characters. The plot was fun. I enjoyed every second and will be listening again. LOVE THIS BOOK.
The combined IQ of all the characters in this book is way below room temp. The dialogue makes me think of some adolescent reality show.
AND worst of all, the sex was tepid!!! GOOD GRIEF! If I struggle through one long teenage mindset, at least make it worth my time!
I loved it!!! what I love about them is that they are not the same and very predictable.. well they meet they struggle they end up together but the storyline is not the same with all of the books from the series...
Believer in what you can't see
That Strider meets his match and falls in love with Kaia. I also like that Kaia doesn't give up on Strider.
That Kaia win her respect back
Kaia because she never gives up even when others turn their back on her.
Challenges make you who you are
I'd rather listen than read!!!! This is my joy!!!
I love the fact that Kai is a Harpee. She's another fun character.
Kai is my favorite character because as stated before she is fun and her family of Harpees are fun as well.
I think Mr. Bellmore is a steady for me. In each book in this series he delivers. He gives you variation with each character and thus helps you identify the characters with ease.
The book did neither. I do think that the author spent a long time with history and making it vivid yet at times it just seem drawn out. But if you can get pass that you should be ok.
I recommend reading the series from the beginning and I do recommend all of them thus far
When Strider and Legion have their final confrontation. It really surprised me.
I think Max Ballmore does a wonderful job with this series, and you always know which character is speaking
Actually two first when Kaia fights her mother. Then when Kaia has her show down with Juliet.
I love that in between you have small snippets of other story lines like what Paris is up to and trying to do in maybe 4 chapters, also 3 chapters about William. You know up coming books will be about these characters.
I've really tried to get through this. The first title in this series had some promise and I was hoping I had a whole new series to enjoy, but after a couple of weeks of valiant effort I just cannot get into this. The narration is pretty awful, but the "literature" he has to work with is worse. It seems incredibly juvenile, except the highly sexual nature of the book would be inappropriate for the under age 12 audience that language style used seems to be directed toward. I have shared and greatly enjoyed many young adult titles with my teen age daughter on the one hand and do not object to sexually explicit literature on the other, but I just cannot imagine an audience that would enjoy this.
I love all of Gena's LOTU books, and this one was no exception. This book is packed with action and other parts had me laughing out loud. Absolutely loved Max reading it. What a treat!!!
