It was kind of a confusing listen. All the people sounded a like. The reader needed to work on making the character voice stand out. The recording sound keep changing. Like the audio had be edited. Weird. Many times I wanted to stop and return the book but I keep hoping that the story got better. No luck there.
I think the idea of sexual freedom is real but I think that the existence of the organization was just hard to believe. I felt like it was a little corny. Induction ceremony, really Zane.
If she read with someone else.
Maybe. I will have to think on that.
Maybe I should have read this book instead of listening to it. I am just returning to reading and was told that Zane books was a good place to start. However, I read Addicted and listen to The sister of APF and have not be impressed at all with her character and story line.
I enjoyed reading/listening to this book. A good page turner. Not too raunchy.
There were alot of good parts to this book; I really can't mention them here :-)
This was a great listen! Zane really out did herself! I loved Olive! She was my favorite!
Maybe -edgy, not hardcore, uncomplicated plot
Read well - emphasized the right words
On cable- with more character development might be good for a short run
I am a Zane fan. Funny how fiction & reality are alike in someways. Loved Sisters of the APF. Great read...
Liked how Olive had to give Mary Ann her props.
Ooo La La!!!
Maryann was my favorite character. She like most of us are waiting consciously (sometimes unconsciously) for the opportunity to bring the real "person" out. She was faced with the decision to allow her inhibitions to be free or to allow herself to continue to be controlled by the "don'ts" we face in every day life. She took a chance on what she wanted to do with a clear understanding of the consequences that lie ahead. She proceeded with caution...hooray for Maryann!!!
I wouldn't change a thing
