Loved the in depth research substantiating each point and the practical application of all of them. The book was easy to follow, understand and apply. The narrator was fantastic! I also appreciated the honesty of the authors.
You'll have to wait until the last few chapters to get what you really want, some solutions. The first half discusses a lot of what willpower is and you can see yourself in those situations and how that situation has happened to you. For those of you looking at this book for weight loss advice, it is not really going to change your weight overnight. It is not going to give you advice for quick changes but say to change smaller things at a time. Some mental tricks are given like the nothing alternative and advice to eat more protein for a glucose brain boost. I'm not sure yet if this will change my life, but will have to wait and see. It's interesting if you are interested in psychology but not a quick fix kind of book.
Full of great examples of how will power gets depleted, how to replenish it (good food and sleep), and how to train build will power and use it for the things that count.
excellent book on this subject! expounded on topics covered in similar titles as well as introduced new information I hadn't yet read. also didn't just talk about it but have lots of information on how to strengthen will power.
