My 5 1/2 year old hyperactive boy loves this - keeps him rapt for hours during long drives. Highly recommended!
This is a great series. My daughter loves these books. We listen to these together and I can see that she is very engaged in the books. The author has a great way of reading them, like no other reader could do. Love them, love them.
Absolutely! My sons, ages 3 and 5, both get swept away with these stories. They like this series even better than 1-8. I like that the stories teach them something about history, while still encourage them to use their imaginations. I also like that the brother and sister don't argue, but work together as a team during their adventures.
We love to listen to these on car trips or in waiting rooms to pass the time.
Absolitely! My daughter listens to these stories over and over. They are cute and I don't even mind listening along with her. The reader is great!
My girls love these books and I love that they get a little history and fun.
Both Jack and Annie have endeared themselves to my girls, especially the almost 4 year old. She always wants to listen before she goes to sleep.
All of them
My son loves this series. We listen to it all the time in the car. I am thankful there are so many stores so I don't go crazy.
We've purchased the first 18 books for my children (aged 4 and 5) and plan to continue through the series. Mary Pope Osborne does a great job; the only thing better would be if they were dramatized.
I love so many things about this series: That Jack and Annie are kind to one another, the positive messages about reading and the idea that reading can take you places, and the historical accuracy of each book. My kids love them!
One of the best kids books I have listened to so far.
Great for kids imagination and also education about times and places throughout history and the world!
I love the story 9-16, but I couldn't buy books 1-8 because it started with two kids went to a stanger's tree house uninvited. In books 9-16, when the kids go for an advanture, they didn't inform their parents where they were going. It might be confusing for little kids, and it concerns me to get more of this series for my kids. Other than that, it's a great book, well written.
