Narrator ruins the whole book. Voice and horrible READING of a book. The message is lost as this narrator reads without feeling. Will not purchase anymore books narrated by this person.
I like the way the narrator speaks with feeling that the writer is trying to convey.
Expresses feeling well
Your emotions don't get to vote
Sometimes Joyce goes on and on and on about the same thing and it gets a little boring because you get the point the first time she said it, but I think it's just because she wants you to get the idea drilled into your head and not forget it.
I'm a huge Joyce Meyer fan - have maybe 7-8 of her seminar teachings and 3-4 books. This is my first audiobook from her. Great, practical and inspired info that follows the bible very closely. The narrator leaves a lot to be desired - her tone of voice sounds like she is trying to explain a complicated subject to a room full of second graders. Still, the content in this book makes it worth putting up with the poor narration.
There is lot of good information in this book but the narration was horrible. I finish all of my books no matter what but this one, I have yet to finish. The narrator is so monotone, it is torture on the ears. Was very disappointing considering how much I adore listening and learning from Joyce Meyer. I think this one is best left a reader.
Yes I would recommend this book. It's something we all should know!
Watching that my feelings stay in check
They should be teaching this in school
I really enjoyed this read and would recommend it to everyone I know!!! I would have to say after listening to this book I have a better sense of controlling my emotions and learning to relax. I have learned to enjoy life!!!
