If you have listened to some of the previous books, you know that the readers actually read the story together. The female will read all the female parts and the male will read all the male parts. This includes all voices! It really does a great job of bringing the story to life.
This one not so much. The female will read the chapters that are from the females POV butshe will read everything including the male voices. It is very annoying to have a two different voices for the leads.
Entertaining, imaginative and addictive.
I love the way the author ties the series together yet still brief you on parts of other book in case you have not read them.
I loved the story line, loved Marguarita and of course she had to be a little crazy and brave to deal with Zacarias; he being nearly mad, was so off the hook; but I fell for him and at the sametime I was afraid that he would drive Marguarita away or kill her by accident. I had a feeling that Marguarita was his life mate, when he saved her life in book telling Solange's story. I was very entertained by this story and the love making was enthalling...I found myself holding my breath and my body. As in the Solange's story I loved the male and female narrators. I don't know if this the last book in the series, I hope not... I love this dark series and I want see if the Carpathians will defeat all of their enemies and I what to know what happens to the Jaguar women and the Jaguar male Luis...
This book was really long. It just semmed to go on and on and on. I think it is more of the authors fault then the reader. The book just wasn't the I was looking forward to. A big let down for Feehan fans!
Christine Feehan always delivers an excellent story. Always eagerly await the next novel. Each of her series are wonderful.
The narration. I was so excited about them having a male and female person but they totally missed the mark. They should of put them each doing a main character not every other capter. And the man UGH! he needs to slow down and not get so excited he really took away from my listening enjoyment.
I did not care for it. :(
I think this book would of been alot better if I read it myself which I will do in the near future. Save your money on the audio version and buy the paperback.
I enjoyed the story, so the time was well spent
I guess the ending where everyone lived happily ever after
There were two narrators, male and female. But it wasn't consistant. One chapter he woiuld read both parts and then the next chapter she would read both parts. The voices were not consistant and it was very distracting. It was also read very slowly and you kept wanting to speed it up.
Yes, I enjoyed the story and it was one in a series so you need to listen to them all to keep up.
Reading is and has been one if my passions from 4years old. I love strong characters, funny, romantic, tearjerkers, action, fantasy, sci-fi.
All the Dark Series books have the same theme ie looking for lifemate. The claiming is so beautiful. Otherwise is the same story with different characters. Kind of like reading different versions of Cinderella. Either you like them or you don't.
Kept hearing myself say: Yeah, got it....you said that already...heard that two seconds ago...alright already...Could not even get past half of the book because I was so fed up of the repetiveness (?) of it. It could have been told in 30 minutes, that's how much there was to the story. Nothing we haven't heard before. over and over and over and over!!!!
Narrator was just ok.
annoyance. boredom, disappointment.
Doubt that I will buy book #23!!!
