once I started I could not stop, I could not wait to get the next book! I look extra forward to getting up early to drive to work so that I can tune in.
The story line leaves me on the edge of my seat! The graphic details of each battle help me envision a movie in my mind. The narrators do an awesome job of adjusting their voices to fit each character. It's just great writing and great acting!
Superheroes. Aliens. Teamwork. Coming of Age. Action. Page Turner.
If you enjoyed the Hunger Games, Ender’s Game or are a fan of super heroes, I highly recommend this series. If you take interest in dystopian worlds, aliens, or YA novels, you should give this series a chance.
the book is pretty good. I like the legacies and how they work. I don't like certain things about relationships but other than that well worth a read. I even like Sam a lot but the voice kind of sucks. lol
Took a little getting used to the narrators voices but the story was good enough that I stuck with it and ultimately enjoyed it quite a bit.
Besides the obvious overtones of teen angst commonly found in the genre and the serious tie ins with commonly found conspiracy theories floating thru the web and modern television(I.e. Ancient aliens) we find a small gem that is willing to exploit both the paranoid and the inner teen loner at the same time. All the while the subpar performance of Neil Kaplan is easily overlooked by the excellent performance by Marisol Ramirez in this entrapping narrative that could of easily have passed for the unaired episodes of "Roswell" or a spin off of the"Starwars" franchise both notable series in the scifi universe, would of needed to mate unprotected to create this stand alone work of what the authors attempted to deliver as nonfiction with-in the first few minutes. Good luck and enjoy I hope my comparisons haven't scared u off :)
The story is good but bogs it self down with so many unanswered questions that it becomes kind of annoying. The dialogue between romantic character is down right horrible.
Tell us about yourself! 70 yrs old, retired my son introd. me to audible and Im thrilled. Now live in small town in Kansas.
I like the different gifts that are being introduced. I hope the story returnes to Sam soon.
No laughing but I am one of those emotional readers tears come to my eyes
