Fort Worth, texas native and I love to READ!!!!
I was really pleased with the entire book, this was a great read and easy to follow
I didn't appreciate the predictability in the story line. And the narrator was horrible. It almost felt as though he was making fun of the characters. His voices were less of a theatrical change, but more of a mocking unenthusiastic change.
No. But, if this is the kind of narrative quality I should expect from this author, I will save my credit and just go to the library.
It wasn't a terrible book. But if you're seeking depth and dimension..... This book is not for you. It it too predictable.
I loved it and now I hope I will not have to wait years for the follow-up! There has to be a follow-up! PLEASE!
At first I was not thrilled about the narrators voice. But then I heard the change in characters and I was in. This book was sooo juicy, funny, sad, all in one. I would surely recommend adding it to your library.
He made the characters sound low budget.
I have read all of E Lynn Harris's books and this being his last book was not good. It lacked so much and was very predictable. The ending left me unsatisfied. I do not recommend you soil your memory of this author with this book.
Maybe another reader. The reader's attempt at using different voices for different characters was horrible!
Didn't even finish the book before writing the review.
Once in a while there comes a writer that give the reader the impression that writing for the writer is seemingly effortless since every word carries a message making reading just as effortless and real.
This is what this writer does every time I have read his work. It's a though the reader can be transported via the writers experience.
COBI WINSLOW to me holds the cast together while never once letting us forget that his issues are as important as those of a the entire cast. He has a level headed approach to life that seems to pay off in the end.
He makes you feel the writing with all its hidden tones and nuances, plots and sub plots.
WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND
This is a must read for anyone who does or does not read as much as I do, since the reader will always come away understanding why "It takes all types to make a world"
I would not change anything.
He was good
None I have always loved E. Lynn Harris's writing.
The story line keep me intrigued and wanting to read more
The most memorable part of the story for me was the twist at the end when the brothers switched places
I don't think I have heard him before, I really didn't like him as a reader something about his voice. I really didn't care for it
The sister was a trip
