There were parts where I would have covered my eyes if it were a movie or taken a break if it were a book. I'll for sure try another.
This is a great book narrated by one of the best in the business. This will not be my last
Gregg Hurwitz book. Highly recommend.
Hurwitz has mastered the fast-paced thriller, though the end is a little weak in my opinion.
Hurwitz has a great imagination; I couldn't predict where the story was going.
Brick puts just the right amount of emotion into the narrative, though he mispronounces some words. That's irritating to an English teacher.
Haven't read the print version.
Revealing of the why Mike and his family were targeted. Shep was an excellent supporting character. I would love to read stories based on his life.
Scott Brick is one of my favourite narrators.
Don't under estimate a father's love.
I highly recommend this book.
I love listening to Scott Brick; excellant narrator. This was also a very good book. I figured out why the lead character was being chased long before the end of the book, but I did not figure out all the twists and turns. Lots of character development and details. I really enjoyed this book. I have to say that at the end of it all, Shep was my favorite character.
I would definetely recommend this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down. The ending was a total surprise to me. Very entertaining!
As the reader, you only got to hear bits and pieces of the history of the main character so you really had no idea what was going to happen to him next.
Shep. I think Scott Brick did a wonderful job on him.
We listened this in the car on a a long trip. If I would have had other books available, I probably would have switched to another. It is a good story, but so long and dragged out -- we found ourselves saying "come on already!"
Yes, because the movie would cut out the long dragged out parts.
Exciting throughout - but sure didn't see what was coming for solution! It was well read and a good book to enjoy!
I listen to a lot of audio books and this one was just "ok". The ending was far fetched and left me saying "really?"
This book ranks in the top third of audiobooks I've listened to.
Character development and tension building, Scott Brick just keeps getting better. His brilliant reading is big factor in the book's success.
