Life in New Jersey!
Stephanie Plum tells it like it is!
We drove from California to Texas making Stephanie a great companion for our ride.
Two for the Show... here we come!
I was fun to listen to, not the best I've ever heard.
Yes, I would
nothing in particular, though I do enjoy books more when I can tell which character is talking and I could with this one.
What it lacks in verisimilititude it makes up for in entertainment value.
I read this series about 4 years ago and laughed out loud through the first 3 or 4 books. After that it became the same plot and stopped at number 8. I saw the move and thought I would give the audio version a try and was very disappointed. The voice for the narrator was just not right and did not fit the description of the main character.
Funny, entertaining, and realistic
Every day I listen during my drive to work laughing out loud. I have been late more than once because I want to finish the chapter. You won't be sorry, Stephanie the main character is great and her life is full of surprises. I have bought the next one in the series and can't wait to get started. The narrator does a great job too.
no and I would not, I like unpredictable stuff, I knew the ending from the start
I liked the reader, not her problem that the book is bad
80 all the way
The narrator wasn't too distracting. Her attempt to mimic accents was interesting to say the least... But I did enjoy listening to the narrator give the character's family life! Her portrayal of Grandma Mazur was priceless!
Not really. But it did keep my attention. There were some twist and turns that caught me off guard.
No. I enjoyed listening to it as I drove. It kept my nerves calm during traffic.
Yes. Love the way the story flowed. Great narration. Love the family, office, community dynamics
Stephanie and her insights into local characters
I had to stop reading this book, because the narrator's voice was so annoying to me. My suggestion, listen to a sample before buying. Maybe you'll like her...
I have read this book and thought it would be a great listen because I remember laughing out loud at some of the stuff that went on in poor Stephanie's job. However, I got none of the great character antic's from the person reading this aloud.
Stephanie's grandmother has got to be my favorite but I wouldn't mind meeting Ranger!
The narrator just didn't get the book. She never seemed to touch with the characters.
Not once I got started.
Very disappointed in the narrator.
