Say something about yourself!
The more I listen to the books in this series the more I'm sucked into them. I'm now facing a hard decision to spend a credit on the next book that I haven't purchased or just outright by the remaining titles and save my credit for something I'm not so sure of. It's hard!
I'm really impressed with Nalini Singh and her writing abilities. There's such a depth of interest in this world, so much to explore. I've just finished this book and it was all I could do not to immeidately go into book 4.
As always she does a really great job of keeping the characters true to themselves, keeps them on track so that you evolve with them and with the rest of the story. This particular book spends a lot of build up to the physical part of the relationship between the characters and you can really feel the tension by the end. It's very satisfying though and doesn't feel like a pointless tease. You'll see what I mean when it this world inevitably sucks you in and you start enjoying it too. :)
I've enjoyed the series so far
I really don't have a favorite, I've enjoyed the whole book
No, but she does a very good job with this series.
It's a good series, each book keeps getting better
Read the first two books of this series because I had already purchased this one, on sale, and wanted to read all the books in order. The psy world is very confusing to me. It is getting clearer now, by this book, as to what is going on, but I just can't get interested, in the whole 'mind over matter' beings. It's them against the were's, with mysterious allies in the psy camp. I see that this series is highly rated, but it's just not for me.
Great series!!!! This is my favorite series. Each book builds on the overall world while keeping you interested in the individual romances. A few of the book were about secondary characters that I didn’t care about at the beginning and absolutely loved by the end. This review applies to the first 9 books in the series.
Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
This series has a great beginning. I love the first three books the next one not so much. This book is defiently up there in being one of my favorite so far in the series. So continue on if you like them so far. They do need to be read in order though no skipping books or starting in the middle.
I love to read but with my busy schedule I barely get a chance to. However, audiobooks allow me to "read" while I manage my crazy life.
This is one of my all time favorite series and of this series this is one of two of my favorite books.
We first meet Judd and Brenna in the first novel. Brenna is recovering from the ordeal of being a victim of a serial killer and Judd is trying to fit into a world that is not his own. Judd was instrumental in rescuing Brenna and has been a huge help in her efforts to emotionally recover. Brenna is attracted to Judd and Judd feels the same way except his psy-lineage hinders his understanding of the emotion. I love the overarching story, the world that Singh has created and the all out revolution that is about to take place at the time this novel is set.
The love story is amazing. I love how Brenna fights for Judd and how her love changes him for the better and allows him to see past his heritage and to the man that he truly is.
This is a must read series for PNR and I would suggest starting from the first book in order to fully grasp what is happening in this book.
Narrator: Angela Dawe
Great performance, the reading of both male and female characters and all characters are distinct and her intonation is spot on.
love this series, cant wait for the new book to come out! I would def. tell friends to buy
