Somehow missed this book when I read the series years ago. Great read and the narration was excellent. Not intellectual but great "mind candy"!
Yes, it is interesting and Patrick Tull is great.
I like all the Sharpe books and this is no exception.
This book shows what a superb story teller that Cornwell has become. Not as much action because of the nature of the events described in the story as other Sharpe novels, the author fill out even more detail in the already rich and complex life of Richard Sharpe. You see both his gentle and aggressive side more clearly here, and how thse decisions will create the path that Sharpe has taken in the other stories. And of course the reader Patrick Tull has given another great performance. Highly recommend this book.
I cannot say whether this is a good or poor book. I am new to the MAster and Commander series, and sought some advice from another reviewer who said this was a fine place to enter. I found it difficult to get attached to the story, and gave up on it. It is not for a newbie.

Content was good.
I am from the US and I am touring Scandinavia. I wanted to learn more about the culture so I bought this audiobook to listen to in the car. Other reviews expressed the description on Copenhagen was excellent. We didn't get past the 45 minute point so I can't comment.
